Oof the addition of the oil pan damage has left older contestants with a huge advantage, at least some of them probably should be rerun with the new damage
No oil actually takes a long time to kill an engine, i managed to go about 15 minutes(after the oil was all gone) with a moonhawk before the engine died from locking itself up without oil.
@@naniwara8673 Exactly. The car will most likely die due to other kinds of damage like the wigeon did, the engine in that locked up because it got a direct and unprotected hit.
When I tested the Hay Bale Sport, it bounced over the first speed bump, did a wheelie onto the engine, and snapped the drive belt. Classic FailRace to make a silly vehicle do well.
I'm not sure they all came from the factory in orange with black strips in the original production run, I think there were other colour options too. With the current production run there are 4 wheel options and a number of colours available...
@@aaronbiggin1103 Yes, they went back into production some time ago, initially as kit cars but I believe fully built versions are available now, both in original 3-wheeler spec and as a more popular 4-wheel variant...
I know most of the comments would be about the haybale, but just consider how good an offroad spec Bond Bug would be in real life, that would be so much fun!
2:15 the Wigeon always leans to one side because it’s so light and there’s a function where you can add weight for where the driver would be which is 60kg by default. SO the car is 60kg heavier on one side
Not to spoil all your hay bale fun, but that is clearly a straw bale rather than hay. Straw consists of the fairly thick and coarse stems of crops like wheat and barley. Hay on the other hand is much finer as it made from cut and dried meadow grass at the end of summer (hence the expression make hay while the sun shines- you need a few good days of sunshine for the hay to dry before it is baled). Straw = thick, hard, yellow and not yummy. Good for making horse muck easier to fork. Hay = much finer, a bit greener and much better nutritionally. It might still be in the muck being forked, only this time post digestion.
Is that weird HDR halo effect when the vehicles are on a dark background (particularly the Toblerone shadows) something in the game or did something happen during editing?
Actually most of it was. Though most of the cars are run without oil issues cause they have a lot more oil. The smaller it is, the more problems it can have.
@@aiedenoldstien9751 err, no? They only added oil pan damage, oil starvation during jumps and around corners, and oil system leaking, in the latest patch. The only way to get oil starvation previously was to be stuck upside down. Older entrants are now at a massive advantage as there is an entire suite of issues they simply did not have but new vehicles will.
@@johnwolf2349 I didnt realize they'd even added that. Pretty neat that the detail is there. Though like said above, it doesnt seem to make it quicker. It basically just gives another method for cars to die.
It's nice that they're still adding new functionality to the game play, but man does that damage indicator need some love. Wheels bent at 45 degree angles... Not a single blip on the damage graphic.
Technically some kind of hardcore modified Suzuki Samurai with 4x4 and whole engine with radiators behind driver's seat (and hidden behind roll bars) should be most efficient one in this challenge...hmm.
Is it just me or did the graphics change after the update? Everything is brighter and shinier when I tried this update out compared to the older version.

I love how the wigeon and pigeon have 4 wheel variants now
The ibishu dove is official now
But they still need some Variants from the dove
The best part about the Haymobile is that the unburnt exhaust backfires sound like chickens clucking.
We need a TOP FUEL haybale
10,000+ hp MINIMUM
Its straw they're different things
not sure what's my favourite series on RUclips. Driven til Destruction or Survive the Hunt.
The long drive.
Survive the hunt.

I was going to count all of the hay bale rolls but there were too many.
Well you are going to like the number.. if you count that one time on the Toblerones it's The Number. The only number you will ever need. 42 rolls.
What an intriguing thumbnail

4 wheels on your bond bug. Think they all came in the failrace colours from the factory.

New Country Hit - "Crash barrier, please release my bale of hay" 🎶 🎸
If a bail of hay can be a race car, you too can be what you aspire to be. Believe in yoself!
A four wheel Bond Bug looks like a right laugh.
I love your low speed control of broken cars. Then high speed control of cars in forza.
You need to do more of the random car generation for this it's so fun and unpredictable which is the fun of it who is with me
You have the patience of a monk to drive that hay bale.

Is there any in-game oil or coolant level gauge? It could be an interesting addition for monitoring how the car is going on the fluids side.
It's actually straw. Hay is for feed, and this is bedding material. Sorry old farm worker couldn't resist
I like the oil pan damage addition.
I'd love a return of the downhill rally BeamNG series.
OUR GOD THE HAY BALE SQUARE
Now someone just needs to combine the Wigeon and the Hay Bale into one ridiculous vehicle. Haha.
Need For Seed-Harvesting Season
you should really have a minimum speed rule for the spinners
The only difference between The Long Drive and the haybale car is Alex doesn't have to stop to put the stuff that fell out back into car...
Thank God they added the oilpan damage because it wasn't fair. Some engines survived thousands of hits and couldn't damage the oilpan..
Time for a new track/new series with the oil pan damage update as it kinda screws the results now.
You'll have to "Bale" when that thing gives up.
6:56 That is one sad looking car.
Hilariously great hay bale run, when it got compacted at the end I fell out of my chair!
After having a little play on the new update I have a feeling "oil pan" is going to be responsible for a lot of future car deaths.
I remember a while ago seeing a racing wheelie bin
The first car is how The citicar should of been made.
that probably would have helped it yeah. basically a 4 door bond bug.

First car up = Bond Bug on steroids!
The Widgeon. Because what everyone needs in their life is an off-road spec Bond Bug...
can't wait to see more scrambled vehicles, those are hilarious
The Wigeon looks like a Star Trek Workbee on wheels.
First thing I thought of with the hay bale was James May’s hay car from that episode of The Grand Tour.
Reason why car was leaning is because theres simulated passenger weight now and the wigeon only weighs around 500, 600kg with very wobbly suspension
2:15 the Wigeon always leans to one side because it’s so light and there’s a function where you can add weight for where the driver would be which is 60kg by default. SO the car is 60kg heavier on one side
does anyone else notice the 'glow' around the vehicles? you can see it against certain objects/surfaces
That first car looked incredibly sad at the end of its run
I want to see Jimmy's Shed on here
Who else was hoping the hay would catch fire?

The haybale tripods more than a hole camera crew.
I think the wheelie situation is what caused most the steering issues, combined with the tripod ofc
The Wigeon is a copy of the Bond Bug IRL
I wish that the hay bale exploded into a cloud of hay particle effects when it got hit by the spinner
The first Boi.
It just yells doorstop.
