Tornado confirmed near DC as powerful storms slam region | LiveNOW from FOX

Thousands of Maryland residents experienced power outages Wednesday night after a tornado ripped through parts of the state, causing extensive tree damage and downed wires. At least five people were injured. Damage has been reported with several downed trees in Montgomery County, particularly Gaithersburg. The National Weather Service issued tornado warnings Wednesday for areas like Baltimore, Owings Mills and Elkton.
A Flood Watch has been issued for much of the Washington, D.C. region as multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms impacted evening commutes.

Sending prayers to those truly affected by these storms. On another note the on site completely devastated coverage in the beginning is sad. I see scripted all day. A fallen tree on 1 person’s home? Really! I noticed those color coordinations as well which further leads me to believe something sinister is happening. 2024 has been off the charts with the amount of rain and storms we’ve experienced and we just got to June. I can only imagine what Mother Nature has in store for the second half of this year.
