@@shawnsin666 It didn't get leaked, they released it on other platforms such as Google Play Music, Spotify, iTunes and Apple Music. People just downloaded/bought it and then uploaded it after.
They'll be releasing new stuff every Thursday/Friday/saturday until the album is released if you go to their website there is a transmission with all the dates

They release new songs every week whenever they make a new album. Last year they released a new Vessels 2.0 track every Friday. Seems like they're doing it on Thursdays this time, since both Manifest and Where The Skies End released on Thursdays. My guess is they make the entire songs and videos in advance so they can release them per week.

@@MarksterC I never got a notification of your reply, nor did I know so many people liked my comment. I'm just on a Starset bing and wanted to listen to this song. After putting over 100+ hours into CyberPunk I can testify it wasn't a completed game. I had high hopes for I loved The Witcher 3. It was a fun experience on a high end PC, but after beating it twice you really see how incomplete it was and how it had a terrible story.

Ok but no one's talking about the music video itself! This seems like a direct reference to the events in Telepathic, Monster, and Carnivore. I think this is a continuation of the experiments that happened to the girl in Telepathic, since she seemed like a failed experiment of sorts, as did the girl the glitch person "woke up" in Monster. The various people in Monster and Carnivore are brainwashed, and based on events in Manifest, it seems that they started with the visors and then upgraded to the implants. Whatever government wants the general populace to obey them, it seems that it keeps failing though. Glitch people, clones, tech failure... This omnipresent hive mind never seems to be able to enslave everyone.
Yes its very nice to have such a long story spread throughout the albums it gives the songs a bit more context when you mix them with corresponding songs video wise

yeah the guy seated in the corner of the room its the same of "carnivore", and if you see "Transmissions" you can see that there is a story throughout all the videos. BUT i think all this evolve into mind control like matrix, realize in the end of "manifest" when they 'turn off' the girl you can clearly see that her body is in one place but her mind is in another. I think this clip shows the mental control ending, something like running out battery of the chip in their head.
The government in this case is most likely an oligarchy of corporations.
On their page are the entire story: All the events started with a singularity from the distant future. a set of "Transmissions" from another reality, so far beyond our universe, that unchains everything. The success from this information was intercepted by corporations who wanted this knowledge for themselves. Then, several "Vessels" (from these corporations, and humans) were sent in order to track the origin of those transmissions. The information was shocking... When that information was intercepted by an unknown man, called "The Architect", many years after (2049), and create an entire social system, ruled by a big Corpo (called NEW WEST), that created also, several "Divisions" in our society to preserve status quo, political power, and tech supremacy.

The technological dystopia Starset depicts does tie into a lot of the same themes as 1984.
1984 is a very influential foundation when it comes to the common consensus of what we fear about control, what dystopia could arise from a totalitarian state.
Initially the fear was of government, in the last two decades or so the flavour has changed from government to corporation (usually as a de facto government) but the key factors are the same. Always a key group up above as an oligarchical tyrant, the abolishment of freedoms under a veneer of choice, manipulation that ordains your every action, cruelties that violate whatever agency of thought you might have, everyone working under the ruling elite either as their enforcers or their enslaved labourers.
The type changes depending on what we fear is likely. In 1984 it was the control of political elite using social manipulation and psychological conditioning to brainwash their populace into ignorant subservience.
Today it’s the fear of what technology can do to our agency, the totality of its control that in the hands of those willing to use it could strip away every liberty we hold dear. A corporate body that makes the law, is totally above it, controls everything we rely on so that we remain subservient even if we realise the scope of its tyranny.
A fear of those with wealth and power in a world where we don’t trust the goodness in human nature not to cross that line.
We fear those who have total control, those who want to extend that control into our own minds. 1984 had a more psychological and social take on this idea, Starset has a uniquely technological bent to it that cautions against both those that would use it, and what it could be capable of.
When technology advances enough to rob us of agency in our own bodies and minds. Where being part of a system means you can never hide or escape.
Starset are the example of how rock music needs to be these days. I'm an old metal/rock head, the creativity from these guys is just amazing.
