- Let us take you along as we rebuild Enrique Lorenzo's Legendary St. Marti Rail.
Somewhere in Barcelona, it feels like the middle of nowhere, was this one mellow rail you could go and have fun. We would even argue there is no handrail that was the first handrail for as many people as this one was. It was an urban legend that Enrique Lorenzo once put it there. And after over a decade of Barcelona locals, visitors and pro skaters skating it, it was gone all out of sudden. When Gustavo Dos Anjos had the idea to recreate it together with Enrique Lorenzo and filmer Dennis Ludwig, we knew we had to make it happen.
And we did in celebration of Pocket Pull Up, where the rail got skated for the first time again. This documentary gives you a look behind the procress and some insights into one of Skateboardings most famous self created and yet respected spots.
Enjoy.
A documentary by Dennis Ludwig.

«Not even Steve Berra was building his own spots back then!» 😂
Out here catching strays lmao.
The happiest guy in skateboarding. What a treasure
OMG! It was my first and only handrail i boardslided when i was 20. Now i am 37. Nice Moments! I didnt know that this was selfmade. Enrique Lorenzo is a living legend and its great that he gives it back to the community.
skateboarding is truly a universal language!
9:40 Yes! Thanks for that clip. Rest in peace, Wilko.
a cool ass dude doing something great for his community, there's nothing better than that!
This is a great idea. Now I wonder where my city has a nice comfy stair.
Also I like to learn about skateboard culture and history.
Enrique = Legend ❤
Good to see this back
El Major Enrique ❤
Latvians skaters have also intigrated some ledges in the streets of Riga for the community to skate, so hope this inspires others around the world 🎉 cheers!
That would be cool!
i went there 2016 and the rail was already broken, laying there. we took some rocks and tried to stabilize it, but it was still wonky, my friend held it and i feebled it
Love that story!
Que bonito.
I have seen that original rail in countless BMX and skate videos and it never even crossed my mind that it was a skater-built obstacle. That surprises me because I am usually pretty good at noticing manufactured spots. It probably slipped past my radar because it was in Barcelona where even the normal spots look like they are built by skaters/BMXers. Haha.
This is so dope. Thanks for doing this!
Our pleasure!
Great video
