    Great review on the crazy end of the budget market. Chi-fi has come a long way in the last year or so in getting there tuning together. What a great time to get started in this hobby. We didn’t have these kind of well tuned iems to choose from when I got started in this hobby.

    Has anyone noticed this? with the Waner, the nozzle comes out of the housing at a 90 degree angle, with no inclination for anatomy.

    7hz Zero lacks middle-bass for my taste and has a problem with comfort because of its squarish edges. Simgot ew100p seems to solve these two issues for me.

      I agree with the mid bass as well as the comfort issue. Cellos don't have any body. But overall it's so well tuned.

    I used to kind of like the Hola... but then I started listening to my KBEar Larks and Simgot EW100p's again and after that the Hola just sounds intrusively dull.

    • @SuperChonk
      @SuperChonk  5 месяцев назад

      Yeh this is kind of true. The Holas are very polite sounding, some might call them dull. I think the EW100 is better balanced.

    Kz zvx/ d fi(choose based on your bass preference) with wide bore tips might be the best under 50 iem for most people. It's better than wanker, hola, chu, lan. I don't about z300 tho. It could be better.

    I'm currently using the CCA CRA and I like the tuning but I want something that sounds similar but with more details and less muddy sound, any good recommendations?

    • @renatobdc
      @renatobdc Год назад +1

      In the under $50 range, if you like more bass, you have the z300. If you like more balanced, you have the ew100p and the tin C2 (energetic). And you have the tin C3, with more bass then the C2. But if you can spend a bit more, like $70-100, you have much better options, like the Olina SE, the Tin T3+, the Simgot EA500, and now the Kiwi ears Quartet for $109.

      That is funny. You like the tuning but want more detail and less mud. Perhaps you don't like the tuning

    Have tried the waner and zero. Much prefer the zero because of build quality. Also the cable on zero is actually good

    Hello, have you tried Tanchim Zero? Do you not like it?

    • @SuperChonk

      I did actually. It is kinda semi open and you get quite a nice soundstage. But I think personally the above in the list seals better

    i already have Waner and 7hz Zero
    they sound good but too boring, i like IEM that have somewhat V-shape or fun signature tune IEM, all the budget IEMs is either neutral or warm and bassy which is something i don't like.
    i try to EQ my Waner and Zero Bass to be more V-shape but the Bass sound horrible if i boosted it so i want an IEM with good bass and treble or more fun. so i dont need to use EQ just to fix IEM i already have.

      True these audio nerds hate fun lol. That's why I don't take hyped iem's.
      Btw have you found your prefered iem's?

    • @FaizalKuntz
      @FaizalKuntz Год назад +1

      @@vzero8612 I did. I have CCA CRA, KZ ZVX and Moondrop Quarks DSP.
      CCA CRA is hype along time ago and its what I use the most, mostly because it's cheap so i can use it for workout or IEM I can abuse and not feel bad when it's broken.
      KZ ZVX is basically Tangzu Wan'er and 7hz Zero but bass boosted, I use it for long listening even tho is not as clean as the two but it's definitely has what missing from Wan'er and Zero.
      Moondrop Quarks DSP is my favorite for the sound, is not v shaped but I love the moderately bass that it has, but sadly it broke immediately after I take it to sleep mainly because it's not detachable cable so I can't recommend if you're careless like me.

      7hz zero and waner are very neutral you probably shouldn't have got them if you like v shape
      In that price point cca cra is a nice v shape
