    These look amazing and no doubt stronger than OEM. However, $350 seems a little steep for some painted extruded aluminum and four mounts...

      The Uintas Bed Rail system is nicer and less expensive than the OE Mopar bed rails.

    what's size the tap socket

    Nice, I wonder if the low profile.13/16" height extrusion might not require the notches

    Don't get me wrong, I'm glad someone is competing, but I'm confused as to why this would be any better than the Mopar version. You're still stuck with proprietary (and expensive) hardware, limited tie down entry points (only the ends), and the heavy initial expense. At least it looks nice, I guess.

      Not everyone gets the OE rail system on their new JT.
      This is just another option that is less $$$ than the OE kit and you can order extra hooks too.

      @@northridgenation you can get hooks at home depot and lowes for 2 bucks. Depending on size. And get turning knobs

    Never use a power drill with a tap, that's a quick way to FUBAR your threads!

    • @northridgenation
      @northridgenation  2 года назад

      That's why you spin the tap in by hand the first few threads to make sure you are engaged.

      @@northridgenation It's your ride not mine but it's still a dumb idea to use any sort of power drill with a tap. Honestly, makes me question your company's credibility.

      @@nickpantano3462 Using a tap with a drill is common, scary for some, but not if you do it right.

      @@northridgenation In some applications sure, a drill is the right tool but not in this case. Your going to have someone mess up their new truck going this route when hand tools are much more appropriate for the task. But sure, you're right, a drill can be used. You won the internet today at the cost of at least one customer.
