@@suzyshomesteadyour parenting skills are admirable. I have been asking my adult sons to train their children to help with chores as I did with them when they were children. Love from England ❤
Mom with 5 kiddos at home ranging in age from 15 to 7. We have the littlest team up with an older child for chores he is just learning. So he might wipe the e table while an older sibling sweeps. Then he might hold the dustpan to help with the sweeping. As he gets more confident, he gets his own turn on rotation.
This is amazing. Love it!
One idea I think could work with your youngest is have him help once a day help a older child so in the morning he could help the child who is doing the morning set up then the next day he could help the child that is doing the lunch and the 3rd day help the child that is doing the dinner set up and start over again you could create a chart for the youngest use drawings and pictures along with words so he can keep track as well and this will help the older children be a positive role model and delegate in a leadership role plus the children will talk and bond on an individual level with the youngest child 👍🏾

Read aloud to your kids. Reading aloud allows them to imagine, listening skills, builds vocabulary and improves comprehension.

I love love your cooking videos but I soooo so much enjoy such content twist especially about parenting and homemaking in general. By the way, I discovered your channel through one of your househelp videos kitaaambo😂 and since then I was glued to every video that your produce.
Anyway, my son is 5 and on holiday and I will definitely download this chore chat for him. He sweeps exactly like yours😂. So biting the tongue is a thing I do daily 😅. I’m always like si nijifanyie tu mwenyewe mbio mbio. But then I’m like when will he ever learn?

I love love watching your content Suzy. I've learnt alot so far. The 4th child can also get engaged in a similar manner (regardless of how clumsy they may be at the beginning), then everyone gets one rest day

hey suzy! pro-tip when toasting, first apply the butter/margarine to the bread first before you put it in the toaster so that it's not too crisp and it doesn't burn
