'Cocktails or Peace' is a reminder that people of all walks of life have been effected directly and indirectly by this epidemic of police brutality. In turn, what was once looked at as an issue only in certain 'underprivileged' communities has become a worldwide concern, and many people of all cultures and creeds have begun to join the movement to stop the violence and increase the peace. It feels like everyday a new video is released that exposes the brutal and unjust beating or murder of civilians at the hands of law enforcement abusing their authority. This song reminds us that although sometimes the situation might seem hopeless, more and more people are in fact becoming aware and taking a stand against these injustices.
