I am happy that they gave Danny a badass theme and a badass character to play as. We all know what Machete could’ve done to Ichiban if he wasn’t protected by plot armor.

@@cartoonvideos5 A friend of mine and I were discussing Yong's performance and comparing it to Darryl Kurylo's performance previously. Given context of the cancer Kiryu has, I think it makes sense. Darryl's performance is a man who is strong, and doesn't need to sound or act strong for it. It's a firm confidence in his performance when Kiryu was at his most healthy, and fits for the force of nature that Kiryu is. When Darryl's Kiryu speaks, you listen because his voice commands that attention be given. Yong's performance is a man who is weak, and is TRYING to sound strong. Kiryu has cancer in Y8, and the prognosis isn't great for him. The confidence, the bravado, is diminished if not outright gone. There are moments when Yong's Kiryu has that commanding air about him, and while I've yet to beat the game I have enjoyed every moment when I can smirk and say "That's the Kiryu I know" when that strength Yong's Kiryu has buried away emerges during the plot. It doesn't change the fact though that Yong's Kiryu is dying, he KNOWS he's dying, and his spirit simply isn't there to fight it.

@@weedGato there is no way to properly implement real time combat into this game. the animations aren't designed the same way as real time combat games, it'll be like playing one of the NPC characters in the coliseum, their movesets sometimes feel wonky and unnatural to the player because their moveset wasn't designed to be done by players
@@sammyexx the guy actually already made a working version with playable ichiban he seems to just reuse the y0 brawler moveset it actually looks pretty good the boss attacks also actually work
