Only video on RUclips that actually covers this, and does so clearly with multiple live examples / scenarios - appreciate your vid and I for sure have it a like 👍
shifting at redline is a little late, anything over 3k can be upshifted and anything under 3k can be downshifted if that makes sense, you dont want to over stress a gear my downshifting with high rpms alrdy
Thanks for making the tutorial video on “How to paddle shift “ a ZL1 or SS Camaro. I got bit by the Camaro love bug last year and snagged a brand new 2024 2SS 10 speed automatic. I really wanted the ZL1 trim- but the budget wouldn’t allow for it. I was clueless about how or when to use the paddle shifter until I came across your video. Your video was a great help to me thanks again🙏👌👍👍
hey bro, so i just came across your vid and i have a 2010 camaro ss 5th gen limited edition and I have the pads or sequentials as well, now i never used them but i know a little about upshift and downshift but my main concern is, how would know when to downshift, i tried downshifting and it stalled and went loud because i missed it, so what's the best of knowing when to downshift because I don't think i have that automatic manual, when it downshifts for you, so what's the best way?
Just subbed my boy! I just bought my Zl1 and did a muffler and resonator delete. Thinking about removing cats and going full straight pipe- will it damage the car riding around with a check engine light? I did it with my hellcat for years and nothing ever happened
Yes. That’s how 90% of auto drivers race. Have it in manual to get to a certain gear/rpm you want. Take off and slap it back over in auto and let the car do its job!
Cuz I got a ZL1 and when you roll race ....let's say 40 or 60 roll do u have it in manual to the sweet spot then punch it then slap it back in automatic and let it shift out???? I'm door to with Scats and I feel like when I don't down shift they hang with me for a sec then I pull off. I need to snatch off from the jump. Bro I'm coming from a 392 and I'm trying to figure the ZL1 out they so different

Yea therealtez 10 speed automatic camaro zl1 how to use paddle shifter
It was helpful, and it was a good video
Great vid bro!
me who's been driving stick shift for over a year watching this
I love the pink color
When your on the freeway and you want to hear it in the tunnels or under a bridge, how do you go about that shifting wise while at a speed of 60+
yesir
It's 400 for time and labor mostly. They gotta pull the entire front end off to change it then put it back on
What the hell are you talking about.
Love the vids!! Keep if up

If you in manual mode and do a 6o roll or something and wanna go back to regular driving can you put it back in drive at highway speeds ?
Yes. That’s how 90% of auto drivers race. Have it in manual to get to a certain gear/rpm you want. Take off and slap it back over in auto and let the car do its job!

Yes. Let it get to a certain gear/RPM your comfortable with take off. Slap it back in auto and let the computer do its work
Great vid
Yo what happens if you press both shift paddles at the same time like tap it twice or hold it Idek. Like the c8 auto neutral revs
Good vid brodie🔥🔥 been trynna learn how to use my shits for the longest😂🙌
Aye that’s dope! Glad I could help you out bro 💯💯
Does it me matter what gear you leave it in I automatica
Do you take your foot off the gas when you shift?
No sir!
Can’t u hold the left shifter and it will auto downshift to the lowest gear for your speed?
Yes!
What kind of exhaust setup you runnin?
Awe track edition. No mains no secondary’s
Does this apply for a v6?
Yessir if they have the paddle shifters
Do more races
Now trade it in for a manual! 😂🔥
Another paint job or give it to his little sister to put her barbie dolls in
R u lifting ur foot off the gas
No it’s not like a manual where you’d let off to hit the clutch to shift. You can keep your foot on the gas as you shift!
anyways, every new year camaro has no lift shift so even in a manual u wouldnt need to now a days, no more dancing on that clutch
Dude why do you have a pink Camaro?? Nevermind!!!!
To bring you here to comment & watch
There are a lot of people that ride around at redline
I don’t see why 😂😂
people really need help on using an automatic?
Why is your car pink, smart though no man would want to steal it. He for sure went to watch the Barbie movie in this
