I’m glad she is supportive of her son’s interests and cultural background. I know he’s not Korean, but he was born in Asia, and it’s cool he’s able to explore Asian languages and cultures. I have always gained a lot from visiting and studying the places where my history lies. I’m biracial, multiethnic is and interested in and proud of it all!
Besides Asia is a friendly place and Korea has an outstanding education good point in favor of Asia.

They are not "unknown". All of these children were legally adopted and raised by Angela and Brad and very well known by the public who watched them grow up.
She could have supported his entire village so he could have stayed with his parents or own people, but no..they take the child and leave the rest. The government of her country is the reason why his country is in that bad shape. So the West can have all the glory and richess they stole out off that country leaving that country dry and not able to develop.

I know that some people and shows were taking jabs and making jokes about her adopting so many children from different countries, but this kinda made me realise what a wonderful person she must be for being able to do that
What I love most is she didn't "white wash" her children. She made sure her kids knew where they came from, and established some of connection to their home countries. She didn't have this mentality that "we are all the same" & we are Americans... She knew her kids would be treated differently from her white kids, that they are not "just" Americans but children who come from beautiful countries that have been devastated by war, poverty or HIV/AIDS.

Not sure it’s some massive money saving exercise... she’s raising these children beautifully and educating them impeccably., And raising children is extremely expensive. In some other countries aside from the us (I’m not American) there is terrible poverty and children are left in some awful positions in orphanages and as bad as the American social care system may be it isn’t as bad as some in 3rd world countries., she’s given these children a wonderful life. You do realize that he applied as a foreigner. It's extremely tough to get in to Yonsei as a Korean. I dare to say that it's toughness is comparable to Harvard if you apply as Korean.

Angelina Jolie is one of the rare mothers in Hollywood that I’ve seen really put in alot of her time and effort into the benefit of her kids. You could really see her love for them.
Gosh I know the feeling. My daughter's mom passed away when my kid was a little girl. It was just me and mija for 10 years. My entire life was about protecting her and making sure she was happy. The day she went to university was so emotionally charged for me. Of course I was happy that she was starting a great adventure and entering the adult stage of her life... but that walk out of the dorm room and to the car was one of the longest walks of my life..
