I love watching people fight prime radahn and think they are "HIM" the first time they fight him lol. Old boy had the tech in the first match but he's missing something. I won't say what but it's a weapon he used on his fight with radahn

Tips: The backhand blades ash of war doesn't give invincibility frames, dodge into him not away for 90% of his attacks and stick to one or two attacks, don't jump

If I can recommend a good build. Heavy armour+ Shield poking and god skin stitcher saved me.

You need to get all 50 scadutree to get 100% att and def
Also use the impenetrable thorns sorcery, it helped me beat him... its got insane burst damage and procs bleed too..
But be warned, you have to time your attacks because you'll get interrupted all the time
