Have been on holiday in Mousehole number of years ago. Its a stunning place but Ive got to say I didnt find the locals particularly friendly. Holidayed in Devon too and that was so different, really friendly people. Loved seeing Mousehole again. ❤- Frances

My Great Great Grandmother was born in Mousehole & her husband in Penzance so I’ve had the joy of visiting twice from Australia 🇦🇺 Most recently in May of 2023 when it unfortunately poured rain all day. Visited a friend to look at his garden under an umbrella ☔️. The sun shone in 2017 when I walked from Penzance & caught the bus back. I hope to visit again.
A lovely place. I have visited before and luckily when l did it was not too crowded. I was staying in Sennon Cove which was beautiful.

Ive never visited there & the tide been up! Yes pretty village. Hubby wanted to paint as the "light was good" but hadnt got paints with him! Didnt ho back to do that. 😢
I noticed a couple of buildings on the front there with steps going onto the upper level. Wonder if they were holiday homes, or normal dwellings?

I went there as a 5-year-old in the 1950s. It took 12 hours by car from Derby, no motorway... My Parent's idea of entertainment on such a long journey was to shut up and go to sleep.
