From what I see, MB definitely did their homework on this pit ... I can't wait to give my son in law my 1050 (he got my 560 too) and get my hands on one of these

Unfortunately I had the 1050 but just shipped it out. I mean, the XT is just a different animal then the original 3 gravity feds. 560, 800, and 1050. All awesome pits....
I've been amazing at how stable the wifi has been. Great great grill. Only issue I'm seeing is my previous cook history is missing data in the graphs - is yours the same?

saw that too. at the 8:20 point it looks like he rotated the board so left side burnt bisquits ended up on the right side as you see on the screen. we all know what he meant.
Can the fold down side shelf be left off? And if so, what would the overall dimensions be? I want one, but it must fit in a limited space in my outdoor kitchen. I cannot find a way to contact Masterbuilt to ask this question. Thanks--love your vids!

Great video as always man! Regarding pit hot spots, yours being towards the left and mainly level 1, would you say that ALL XTs will have the same hot spot location or can it vary from unit to unit even though they are identical grills?
Ok thanks, just curious. I think I’ll be pulling the trigger on the XT soon, to replace my Pit Boss. I noticed on my PB that my hot spot was closest to the chimney. Makes since, as heat/air escapes there.
From the minute I got the 560, the WIFI NEVER worked, with either an IOS or Android app. A week after I got the grill the display crapped out. Worst grill I have ever owned. Stay away

Get yourself a wifi extender and that will help a lot when you test grills with wifi
