This was my first time ever to make bao and this recipe worked out to perfection. For sauce I ended up combining garlic-ginger paste, 1/2 and 1/2 portion of tomato sauce and BBQ sauce. I got kisses from everyone in the family. This is what I charge if they absolutely love what I have cooked - lol. Thank you for your kind share.
i dont mean to be offtopic but does someone know of a way to get back into an instagram account? I stupidly forgot my account password. I would love any help you can offer me!
I can vouch for this recipe. I'm always hesitant to follow a gochujang sauce thinking it would be too spicy, but this one was just perfect! And the chicken stayed crispy with the sauce. Thank you so much!
Gochujang sauce? Wow! Korean chicken? Great recipe and friendly explanation. The result is also attractive. High quality video! Your daughter likes k-pop ~~
My Greek friend told me about Korean Chicken Bao. It is a great Korean fusion and I’m willing to make it. After leftover of Korean BBQ chicken, I might use your Bao. Thank you for the idea.
Yum...these came out fantastic!!! Love the sauce but when I made them a 2nd time, I tweaked the sauce by mixing Kewpie mayo with Sriracha sauce and teriyaki sauce...turned out even better!!!!!!! YUMMMM
As a Korean, I can say that Koreans don’t eat bau buns and coriander. (actually lots of Koreans hate coriander😅 i have never seen bao buns in Korea) but the recipe seems very interesting and i like how Korean fried chicken changes in different countries. Def i will try this recipe. 😁
I'll make this but instead of bao buns, I'll use french baguette and make it look like Banh Mi :) still the same components for filling!!! I'm drooling for that korean chicken!
Omg, why haven't I found your Chanel before. Love your food, the way your cooking and your calm and sweet personality 🙏😍new subscriber. Love from sweden
Love your food page! I made this and it was fantastic! I went to make it again and for some reason when i added the fried chicken to the sauce the coating from the chicken starting to come off! ( it was perfectly coated until i added it to the hot sauce) The first time i made this didnt happen and it worked out perfectly - do you know of any reason of why this happened and what i did wrong second time round? Thanks
Bao buns are originally the bread they use for “Gua bao”, which is Taiwanese street food. You put Korean fried chicken in it doesn’t make the style of the food “Korean food”. You can call it Korean fusion Taiwanese food rather than disregard the credit of Taiwanese style in this dish you created. People needs to give proper credit to different Asian foods. It’s similar to how you do not call Paella a French food. Please do correct this.

Could you please tell me where you got your steam pans from? :)
Can i store it? Before steam or after steam?
Incase anyone doesn’t feel like making the buns you can buy them in M&S 😬 shortcut
Nice
Thanks
Nice content
What can we use instead of Gochuchang sauce please? Never heard of it and I'm thinking to make them today
You can buy it from Amazon.
Wow spr 😋😋👌👌
What if we don't have the gochujang sauce ? What can be used as replacement?
I read another recipe. They used Sriracha sauce.
If you don’t like spicy food, use soy sauce.
How much does four chicken breast weigh roughly? Really love your recipe 😋
2kg
what can b the substitude of gochujang sauce.. ??
Yummo
How many buns does this recipe make?
20
Can I make bao buns an freeze it
What a great idea.
The 3/4 cup water was too little for the 3 3/4 cup of flour
hummmmmmm
👍😁👍😁
What’s buttermilk? ☹️ i don’t think we have it here
Combine half plain yogurt with half water. Ta da
Yogurt Milk. In above recipe, you can use Yoghurt in place of buttermilk
you didnt fry the chicken twice...
