- Summer Tour Episode 3. We all hear about Croatia 🇭🇷 and it’s somewhere we always wanted to visit…is it as beautiful as people say and is it fun to take your campervan there? Can you free-camp ok? Are the campsites any good? When we packed our Ford Nugget Campervan for an adventure (episode 1) we knew we were going to Croatia but we didn’t know where, or where it would eventually lead us to! This is the third episode of our multipart Summer Tour series and we certainly did not plan on going where we ended up, or do what we thought we might do!

We are Jordan, Jo, Holly, Izzy and Poppy, the calicamperfamily. Our current van is a 2022 Ford Nugget Plus. It is a 5 seater and sleeps all 5 of us too.
We are British and live and work permanently in Northern Italy alongside Lago Maggiore, near the Alps and not far away from Milan.

@@frenchboy2005-mp1ui in fact we did rent a California for 3 weeks June 2022, we both loved it. Unfortunately a VW beach with some necessary extras is €72,000, and there is the problem 😐

@frenchboy2005-mp1ui A good idea, and the hope is that they enjoy it! 🥴😳😖🤞🏻😱😬….it is difficult if one person really sees the fun and adventure in it, and the other doesn’t! A friend of mine rented a California for a week and ended up parked on a friends drive whilst his wife slept in their friends house 🫣😯
@brpiry yes, it is not a cheap hobby to get going with, especially if you want something fairly recent or new. But maybe the justification can come from using it as an everyday 2nd car? I hope you can do it, Brian 👍
