There is not much between these days but what IMO makes the difference is an after market shaft , i have a G430 max which was great , then i went for a shaft upgrade and the difference was night and day , more distance , more accuracy. Golf Repairs 4U offer a fitting service where you pay £60 upfront and if they dont add distance and accuracy via an aftermarket shaft then they give you the money back. 2 of us out our 3 ball have been for a fitting and for the sake of £150 for a new shaft it was a no brainer
How did you find the feel of the Qi35? I absolutely loved the munched feeling in the middle of the face with the stealth but it was not very forgiving but trying the Qi10 it felt way more solid. Does this version of the carbon face feel softer this year?
I have a stealth 2+ , a g430max and a Qi10 max. The stealth is farthest but inconsistent. The Q is straighter but shorter. The G is the best compromise. I bought an upgraded shaft for it this season and stick with it.
So in short, still very hard to justify spending $600 every year. I miss my Stealth. had the face break and TM replaced in with the Qi10 for free. Took a while to get used to it but I do like it now. Ball speed drop but distance about the same with the same shaft. Swapped out the shaft to something else and gained a few yards. Tried the Qi35 at Club Champion about a week ago as they had just gotten them in and I didn't see any improvements vs my Qi10 for my swing. Maybe hitting it more I will but there really is very little difference among these clubs and the bigger impact would be finding the right shaft that works with the head as things do change for the perfect combo from year to year. I went with a Newton 5 dot for my Qi10 and was shocked at how the results have backed up the claims of their marketing. I was all set to receive it, test it and send it back but it has stayed in m club since I got it.
Your reviews are good but as a senior golfer I don’t hit my driver over 2 yards so your high swing speed and 300 plus yards makes it difficult to know if these clubs would suit me. All the best.
I'm glad you enjoyed the reviews. Not sure if it's a typo but I'm sure you can hit it further than 2 yards? What is it you're looking to get out of your driver?
Great reviews, I'm currently gaming the Stealth 2 +, please do a comparison of all the low spinning carbon woods from Stealth plus to Qi35 please. I must commend you on 100% effort to indicate progress or lack thereof with the newer driver while some you tubers try sway the results by sub par performance on older models❤
why don't you compare the Stealth + and the New Qi 35 LS and see the difference , because with the standard only being slightly behind in distance , looks good on the cheaper Stealth IMO , :)
I have a stealth and average about 70+ percent fairways a round but don’t hit it far at all. I am looking for a driver with more pop to it and get a little more distance. Would you recommend I look into a Qi35?
So core model to core model was the same over 4 years. Potentially better grouping due to more forgiveness across the face, but that was comparing the new max to the old core so not 1:1. Id say the new drivers are great but not a significant difference worth the money vs older models. Just a standard refresh
A lot more forgiving and easier to hit and straighter. everyone is different but you will see a little bit more distance especially on the off centre hits.
The look has changed. That’s it. The others are still the same. Another year of “marketing gimmick “. It’s hard for the manufacturers keep bringing something dramatic every year when the technology has reached its peak for years. Bought a used stealth 2 at a discount, and it does the same job.
It's marginal gains at the end of the day. There's more adjustability which will get you to hit straighter drives and more fairways controlling the big misses as the MOI is higher.
It's not as consistent, the speed is there but the forgiveness is nowhere near as good. With all the adjustability the dispersion is better as you have more control.
All depends on what you're looking for. If it's been 5 years it's time to upgrade, and it's best to get the latest model with the newest tech. If you got last year's model keep using it until the performance starts dip then a maybe look at a newer driver down the line. But this new Qi35 is worth it if you're looking to upgrade.
Looks like a great club, and if buying today that's what I'd be getting. I recently went from Sim2 to Qi10 so it's probably not for me, but I am surprised that Gen1 carbon face vs Gen4, plus all the other Tech, has only gained it a couple percent in distance and a few percent tighter with dispersion. The Stealth got roasted quite a bit for being unforgiving, but seeing this makes you realise that the difference between great and not so great isn't actually all that much.
Looks worse IMO looks too big the core model and seems to be very low spin. Will try out but on first impressions I think the QI10 is still going to be in my bag this year
@@bunkeredI’m basically scratch on the day but my handicap is officially 3 Played since 1985 and unless your are plus handicap and literally on that next level nobody has the skill set to get the advantage of these new drivers no disrespect but NO amateur player using last years model if honest won’t see any difference or from the stealth driver other than in there head using it to justify buying it
There is a difference if you’re not a hacker different cgs different spin rates etc if you’re bad though you will still be bad that being said the shaft is still most important

Mate you’re an absolute unit 💪🏻🚀
Thank you.
What I would do is just wait until the qi10 price goes down or just keep my stealth 2
If it's the price that puts you off the Qi10 is a great driver.
I am still in love with my Sim 2. I am afraid to hit anything newer, I might like it too much.
The Sim 2 is awesome. There's a reason why some players can let go of that model. But this new Qi35 does have a Sim 2 feel about it.
Those are still being sold new in some places.
How did you find the feel of the Qi35? I absolutely loved the munched feeling in the middle of the face with the stealth but it was not very forgiving but trying the Qi10 it felt way more solid. Does this version of the carbon face feel softer this year?
It feels really solid this year. I really liked it and would say it's pretty much the same feel as Qi10.
I have a stealth 2+ , a g430max and a Qi10 max. The stealth is farthest but inconsistent. The Q is straighter but shorter. The G is the best compromise. I bought an upgraded shaft for it this season and stick with it.
The G is a great choice

Stealth is a great driver. I still have 4 of them
Wow, huge difference there

Hitting it 2 yards😂 atleast you'll never have to shout fore😏

I forgot to mention I prefer a fade especially when it comes to driver
Yes absolutely. With the adjustable weights on the sole you can move the heavier weights forward to give you more speed and distance.
So core model to core model was the same over 4 years. Potentially better grouping due to more forgiveness across the face, but that was comparing the new max to the old core so not 1:1. A lot more forgiving and easier to hit and straighter. everyone is different but you will see a little bit more distance especially on the off centre hits.
Awesome, now I can drive it 500 yards. It’s true guys, every year the new driver gets me more distance.
You should compete on World Long Drive tour
those LS numbers are ridiculous 196 ball!
It's fast
I'm surprised the carbon face on the stealth has lasted 3 years to allow you to do this test 😂😂
How on earth do you swing like that 😮 ...is there a video on that 😂
We will be doing something very soon
@bunkered cnt wait..holy moly he needs drug testing 🤣

Drat I meant 210 yards!!!!!
So bottom line. If I swing 130mph it may tighten my dispersion a bit? 😂
Yes and if you're 100mph you'll hit it even straighter
Based on the results, might as well buy a used Stealth Driver 😂
It's not as consistent, the speed is there but the forgiveness is nowhere near as good. With all the adjustability the dispersion is better as you have more control.
@ I game the QI10, don’t think Im going to upgrade this year.
An improvement yes, but probably not worth the $$.

Only you can decide if it’s worth it

What a worthless comparison. How does a marginal difference how any value for any golfer who cannot drive a golf ball 350 yards.
Happy New Year
Be real. There’s no difference.
A lot easier to hit and a noticeable difference in forgiveness, dispersion and distance.
Better looks and forgiveness ?
Looks worse IMO looks too big the core model and seems to be very low spin. Will try out but on first impressions I think the QI10 is still going to be in my bag this year

So no difference
A lot more forgiving, consistent and stable
So no difference in the driver at all
