you are literally the only reviewer to point out the increase in shaft length and it being a negative, I completely agree especially as virtually no pro plays it at that length and most top fitting centres builds all their drivers at 45 inches too
I know some people hate the turbulators but I have the 10K and it's been the best driver I've ever had and I don't mind the dragonfly turbulators on top. Hate me if you want to but I hope they keep them it's their trademark and looks different than any other driver out there.
You said to “hate me if you want”, so no offense but I’m gonna go ahead and hate you. 😉🤣 That being said, I agree with you 100% man. I don’t have any problems with the turbulators at all. I love my 10k also. It is super consistent for me at least. I know exactly what it can and can’t do for me. That’s most important to me. I can be confident on the tee because I know what I’m going to get if I hit it as I should. 🤷🏻♂️
If sound is the problem, just order it with some hotmelt added to the head. With regards to length, Taylornade have been 45.75" for years. Do people make this big of detail about the length of TM clubs...no. It's a 1/4" longer than a TM, which 99% of golfers wouldn't even notice.
I'm most used to Callaway and TM where I prefer Cwy a little bit over TM as I feel I hitting straighter with Cwy but I really would like to try one Ping now
I've been noticing a pattern of you making just about every driver you test really good. You are the personification of it's the player and not the equipment. Seems like some folks taking lessons from you would be far more beneficial than buying the latest and greatest.
Alex … I appreciate that SFT is not for you. But for the slicers out there … does it WORK? Is there a difference between Draw and Draw+? With all due respect, review the clubs for their purpose and a little less about which club suits you specifically. 🤷♂️ No worries, I still love the channel and am a suscrber. ❤👍 😜
I have an ancient Ping G30 SF and it's very good ( normally hate Drivers / all of them ! ) Ping in fairness produce some lovely clubs ! Those new Drivers seem to tick all the boxes!
Me too! Have the same driver SFT left handed. Passed it on to my son and bought G430 SFT. I believe the G30 was the first with turbulators? Either way. I have not even noticed the turbulators after my first swing 10 years ago! 👍🤷♂️
Ive got the G425 max and I’ve grown to hate the ear splitting racket it makes, I am upgrading this year going to try all the new drivers but if the sound of the new Ping even reminds me of that racket it won’t get a second swing.
It's basically the g430 10k max . Ping have basically messed up bringing that driver out last season as it was such an improvement on the normal version of the G430
46 inches is a bit much. I have a TM and took three eights of an inch off the shaft for more control (FTW) mentality. Does Ping allow you to revise the length, and how much does it impact yardage?
I love Ping and I will try for sure the max coming from the magic G425 …. a great video, only comment CLUBHEAD SPEED 109 is not common …. What about adding a normal amateur one 😂
Not the standard for forgiveness at all. By the time people get custom fitted to these, the cost could be up around £700 easily. Noise is bearable and the line on the top only serves to make it appear that the ball is being hit with a sphere and could go anywhere. That's how my eyes see it from the player cam.
I think you have totally destroyed the new paying driver you probably pointed out everything that they wanted to avoid great video. I’m still gonna buy the 440 max even though they’ll piss me off and put out a 440 max 10 K in about two months.
Too bad Ping can’t finally break away from this dated top appearance of the driver and make something that looks futuristic and sharp. The turbulators are so dated and ugly. The bottom looks OK now, finally doesn’t look like somebody did it with an artist brush and cheap paint. But the performance, you can easily buy other brands from 2017 to 2023. That perform every bit as good and go even further. The new drivers are just a bunch of hype, overpriced and in Canada here $1000 for a new driver with taxes is absolutely ludicrous.save your money and buy a club. That’s 3 to 8 years old and spend your money playing the game. New clubs are a waste of money.
Just like w TM, until they do away w the carbon face I won’t buy one, like ping until they do away w the turbulator things, I won’t try one, Callaway is and will be my driver of choice for along time until

I love the turbulators. People are stupid

It wouldn't be a Ping without the Ping. Love the sound!
Everyone will buy & a few months later regret when the G 440 max 10.5 K comes out !

I have the G430 Max 10K and really enjoy it. If you play a Titleist Pro V1 the sound is much different than if you play a Bridgestone B XS.
Looks great underneath but the crown spoil’s it big time for me

I cant get used to it . Tried it off and on for 2 seasons , I hit my old K15 far better and further by a long shot .
It's basically the g430 10k max .

Gaming GT4 and really like it. But there are days I wouldn't mind a bigger 460 head. 440 max and core TaylorMade
I love Ping and I will try for sure the max coming from the magic G425 …. a great video, only comment CLUBHEAD SPEED 109 is not common …. What about adding a normal amateur one 😂
How about reviewing the sub 70 859 driver against the bigger brand drivers of 2025?
Ping new 440? does this mean their next model a 450 will be a 450?
It's one louder!!
It's Ping it's supposed to Ping, try the original putter

When golfers lose the ability to grip up or down and 1/2 inch rolls your apple cart... cmon Alex u r better than 1/2 inch

Good luck with an msrp of nearly 500.00!

Loose the turbulators, Ping. It would save some weight. And be more attractive. Or explain what the benefit is of them.
Sorry Ping. Never like the look of your drivers or the sound. Pass.
Callaway makes the cheapest looking driver and Ping says, “Hold my beer!” 😳
Turbulators are soooooooo ugly!
whent back to sounding like a can.
Sounds like a PING. Kettle'ish.
Never a fan of Ping, they could have done better. Especially the sound.
Yeah, instant sell out for the same dolts that buy new clubs every year and their scores stay exactly the same. LOL
between qi35. elyte , ping g440, which was easiest to get up in the air
It wouldn't be a Ping without the Ping. Love the sound!
