Music Score by Lorne Balfe.
I'm actually blown away by this. It somehow perfectly captures the Goa'uld themes, matches it with modern style intros, and also doesn't rely on nostalgia for the old intros.
It's 100% believable as a new Stargate show intro.
It somehow didn't occur to me that this is the soundtrack from His Dark Materials not Stargate
This made me want a new show more than I’ve ever wanted it. Well done.

More like "if", MGM are too haphazard atm, the selling of their IP's (if they decide to sell off bits, or all will be a massive thing) and how they have no clue what to do with the SG IP etc, all boils down to chaotic; I can't see it coming back unless another company revives it once sold.
@@Tylantia well Amazon just bought everything in full for 8 billion, and The Expanse goes off next season, so I see a new Stargate series (or 2) and a Young James Bond show that's probably already in the works, considering they're spending half a billion just on the RIGHTS to make a lord of the rings series, i don't think 100 millon on Stargate is that much really, I rarely make predictions but I feel this one in my bones 😀

holy shit if someone told me this was the announcement for a remake of the original series I mgiht actually get hyped! I hate remakes but the visuals and the tension really sell that season 1 vibe.
the return of stagnate is coming tho lol, the news came out recenlty, search it up, im so hyped, maybe they'll put this on the theme

I've been in such a bad mood all day. I don't know how it got into my recommendations (although I love Stargate), I'm in such awe, I've never seen a fan make a trailer for a TV series not just as good but even better, completely in the best tradition of filmmaking. Just bravo to the author. BRAVO!

This is amazing. I wish they could remake or do more with the Stargate universe. It is and always will be one of the most important intellectual properties of fantasy ever.
Universe's cliffhanger is still a sore spot for me 10 years later haha. Time to rewatch soon.

I have always been excited at the prospect of a reboot/remake of Stargate. Not that I didn't enjoy SG-1, Atlantis or Universe, I think that its such a rich world. Those series and the SciFi/SyFy network went in one direction which for the most part was great and generally an all around good series. I think there is so much that the series could do by continuing on path created but the movie. I hope that wen creating the new series (fingers crossed) that they are able to blend what was successful from the movies and the tv universe. I would love the expansion into other legendary phenomenon like Atlantis, etc. I would love to see the expansion into other pantheons and the exploration of the Jaffa and other races. Take what's amazing and just elevate it.

This was amazing. The music was also great. I think it could of had the OG theme tied into it especially with the ending part, but very well done.

Epic! One slight improvement idea: focus in on the necks of the statues, maybe even show a vague, worm like outline glowing inside them
This was 100% as if it were the opening credits for the HBO reboot of Stargate. The only thing that was missing was the new theme by Ramin Djawadi... but this one was pretty good, too.
This soundtrack would be cool in a final series where Earth was finally invaded and the US and other nations have to reveal the Stargate to the public

This was amazing! The music was so dramatic and action packed, it feels like the opening to a story about the reign of Ra before the events of the movie. Recast Ra with someone menacing and strong like Idris Elba. Anyway, congrats, awesome visuals and music.
Seriously? Idris Elba? I'm sorry but that is absolute garbage casting. The original actor was perfect for the role. They were flamboyant yet subtle in their acting. I don't know what people's obsession is with recasting characters with famous celebrities. It passes me off to no end

@HolaMundoTheMisteriousAG That's fine and all. The point isn't to bring back the og actor. If they don't like the role, they don't like it. But don't just replace them with some big name actor. Bring on some new talent with the same likeness and tone as the original protrayal.
