Boys had a car accident on the way back from making this, couple of them were hurt badly, Par and Hannes from memory. Pars back and neck still give him issues, :( Such a dedicated bunch of guys!
Their Mic stands are rifles with a helmet on top, also known as the Soldier's Cross, since a rifle and helmet are sometimes used as an impromptu grave marker.
You know which channel I think is super underrated? Metal Piano Music. The guy spends weeks composing classic metal songs into classical/relaxing piano pieces and he hardly gets any views. I love his arrangement of Holy Diver by Dio. That dude deserves millions of followers 🤘🏻
iam 5,5 too ^^ thumbs up for us all small "big" man...(sorry had to ^^) and to add a thing, i think Indy did Peter O'Tool proud :), well that leaves on a thing maybe Indy as Indy Jones^^
I'm interested in seeing your reaction to The Final Solution. Especially because Sabaton has a history version for it as well. I don't know how many live versions there are, I don't think it's a song they like playing live.
I understand what you mean completely. It's heavy. The history version even more so, you can see Indy Neidell getting emotional talking about it. Take your time, I'm enjoying your other reactions in the meantime.
Yea there's not alot of live versions of the song. I saw them in November of 2019 and they debuted the song live out of the blue because Joakim felt like playing it live
when i saw them live the last time in 2017 at frölundaborg in gothenburg, they did play the final solution in an "acoustic" setting, only tommy on keyboard and joakim singing, no other instruments
This song are so Good, and the guitar riff at 4:19 are excellent. Thank you. Beside playing guitar Tommy Johansson also plays piano, and beside drumming Hannes also plays guitar and both are pretty good at it. Now in christmas times it would fit very well if you reacted to Ghost of Christmas Past, and Joy Of Christmas with Majestica.
7:50 Challenge accepted. *points to the videos for Bismarck, Christmas Truce, Steel Commanders, and Defense of Moscow* Yes, the first two of these you have seen already, but that was a while ago at the very beginning of your journey down the Sabaton rabbit-hole.
Could you please react to Hill 3234? It's... different. That's probably the best way of describing it. It's one of Sabaton's relatively few harder hitting, faster songs. Something along the line of Panzer Battalion but even simpler. It lacks the intricacy of some of the other songs. Frankly it doesn't sound that Sabatonish in the first place. But I guess that's what makes it stand out. In a good way. And the text is still based on real historical events (Soviet-Afghan war in this case).
Okay switched to my PC now so i dont have to keep posting and updating the comment anytime i want to add to it. I'll answer your Attero Dominatus question from the Swedish Pagans video here, hardly anyone recommends it because its from their second (technically third but Metalizer had trouble being published so 2 albums got released before it) album from 2006 which makes it prehistoric, and without any good official or live video it hardly gets any exposure. You should definetly check it out, it has a powerful drive as it is their first track of the album and starts things off with a blast, its about the Red Army pushing into Berlin at the end of ww2.
The Trews - Highway of Heroes And I have a poem, I dont know who wrote it but it genuinely means alot to me. -Devilin, Sgt with 3rd Battalion Royal Canadian Regiment '04-2014 Who Is He He is profane and irreverent, living as he does in a world full of capriciousness, frustration and disillusionment. He is perhaps the best-educated of his kind in history, but will rarely accord respect on the basis of mere degrees or titles. He speaks his own dialect, often incomprehensible to the layman. He can be cold, cruel, even brutal and is frequently insensitive. Killing is his profession and he strives very hard to become even more skilled at it. His model is the grey, muddy, hard-eyed slayer who took the untakeable at Vimy Ridge, endured the unendurable in the Scheldt and held the unholdable at Kapyong. He is a superlative practical diplomat; his efforts have brought peace to countless countries around the world. He is capable of astonishing acts of kindness, warmth and generosity. He will give you his last sip of water on a parched day and his last food to a hungry child; he will give his very life for the society he loves. Danger and horror are his familiars and his sense of humour is accordingly sardonic. What the unknowing take as callousness is his defence against the unimaginable; he whistles through a career filled with graveyards. His ethos is one of self-sacrifice and duty. He is sinfully proud of himself, of his unit and of his country and he is unique in that his commitment to his society is Total. No other trade or profession dreams of demanding such of its members and none could successfully try. He loves his family dearly, sees them all too rarely and as often as not loses them to the demands of his profession. Loneliness is the price he accepts for the privilege of serving. He accounts discomfort as routine and the search for personal gain as beneath him; he has neither understanding of nor patience for those motivated by self-interest, politics or money. His loyalty can be absolute, but it must be purchased. Paradoxically, the only coin accepted for that payment is also loyalty. He devours life with big bites, knowing that each bite might be his last and his manners suffer thereby. He would rather die regretting the thingshe did than the ones he dared not try. He earns a good wage by most standards and, given the demands on him, is woefully underpaid. He can be arrogant, thoughtless and conceited, but will spend himself, sacrifice everything for total strangers in places he cannot even pronounce. He considers political correctness a podium for self-righteous fools, but will die fighting for the rights of anyone he respects or pities. He is a philosopher and a drudge, an assassin and a philanthropist, a servant and a leader, a disputer and a mediator, a Nobel Laureate peacekeeper and the Queen's Hitman, a brawler and a healer, best friend and worst enemy. He is a rock, a goat, a fool, a sage, a drunk, a provider, a cynic and a romantic dreamer. Above it all, he is a hero for our time. You, pale stranger, sleep well at night only because he exists for you, the citizen who has never met him, has perhaps never thought of himand may even despise him. He is both your child and your guardian. His devotion to you is unwavering. He is a Canadian Soldier.
Hey dude, i know you're knee deep in sabaton at the moment. I'm a realitively new follower so not sure if you have done any powerwolf? But i'd love to see you do powerwolf - dancing with the dead. If you haven't heard it ofcourse :) it's probably the catchiest damn song going atm 😆🔥
I enjoyed that. I'd bet Indy has those robes tucked away someplace. ••• LLAP!!! ••• Would a Vulcan keyboard have an exclamation key just so they could not push it?
Hi If you want to see them in different clothes. React to Sabaton - Livgardet (swedish version) and Sabaton - The Royal Guard (English Version). and ones again becouse i like it Sabaton - Inmate 4859 😄 keep up good react videos
As a suggestion for music from around the world, I would like to throw The Hu into the hat, a metal band from Mongolia, who will be supporting Sabaton on their next world tour
"A raider has entered the Battlefield." The computer game Battlefield has a scenario based on Lawrence of Arabia, and I refuse to believe that Sabaton doesn't play video games.
they do play games, yes, i know pär plays games like world of tanks and world of warships whenever he has free time, tommy brought his switch with some games like mario kart on their "the great tour", you can see tommy and joakim play mario kart against each other on one of the behind the scenes videos from the tour
On their wardrobe, Joakim has gone on record stating "We're like the village people, in camo pants."
That's hilarious.
Boys had a car accident on the way back from making this, couple of them were hurt badly, Par and Hannes from memory. Pars back and neck still give him issues, :( Such a dedicated bunch of guys!
Great reaction as always enjoying this format very much. could you add sabatons "price of a mile" and "Firestorm" some of my hidden favorites
Added!
Touchy Reactions please do the live version from woodstock when checking out ”The price of a mile”. Great reaction!

I can't imagine a bunch of Swedes would enjoy the desert much more than my pasty Canadian ass.🥵
It's quite a nice vacation for our freezin' asses from up North... 😄🌞
One of my favorite Sabaton songs! It just doesn't get enough attention, in my opinion. Glad you checked it out. 👍
So good!
Something I can highly recommend is FEUERSCHWANZ - Warriors Of The World United (feat Thomas Winkler, Saltatio Mortis & Melissa Bonny).
One of my favorite songs of theirs, dont know why, just this one clicked for me ^_^
Fields of Verdun has pretty high production value as well...though, admittedly, more violence in it.
One of the best Sabaton songs i.m.o. with a really great and original guitar solo. Thanks
Glad you like it!
The mic stands are soldier memorials - rifle with helmet marker for a temp grave...
Thanks for the details.
You should react to Livgardet! There are 2 versions, the swedish one and the english one "The Royal Guard".
iam 5,5 too ^^ thumbs up for us all small "big" man...(sorry had to ^^)
and to add a thing, i think Indy did Peter O'Tool proud :), well that leaves on a thing maybe Indy as Indy Jones^^

No problem 👍
Yes, a great videoclip! Imagine being there in that hot place working... Thanks for your reaction!
Thank you too!

I have been a little gun shy about doing that one just because I've been told what it is about, and I need to be in the right head space for that.
I understand what you mean completely. It's heavy. The history version even more so, you can see Indy Neidell getting emotional talking about it. Take your time, I'm enjoying your other reactions in the meantime.

Nice reaction as always, as I have said before, I really appreciate the way you do the reactions to the world of Sabaton
I appreciate that!
"Joakim's got a leg cramp" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA
Great reaction, loved it.
And they fight like this until today. Changed camels for cars, but strategy remained.
have a look at this Sabaton - Christmas Truce / Musikhjälpen 2021
Done already
Challenge accepted. Christmas Truce. I cannot wait to see when they preform it Live.
Christmas truce was good, but I think as far as cinematography goes, this one was better. My opinion only.
Price of a mile is a good one
coming soon

Fun fact: Joakim has a knee made of pure titanium
Or chronic muscle spasms in his leg.

They spent money and shed blood. Sabaton was involved in car crash after filming.
I'd love to see reaction for White death
It is on the list.
Tng eh? none of the glorious DS9?
I love DS9. Just started with TNG
Any of the series clicks for me, actually Enterprise May be a favorite right now.
The Best version of this song - Radio Tapok!
In the desert no one can hear you so I guess freedom of volume
Bismark is just as good if not better.
Can't argue too much with that.
