- NOVA is a parallel dynamic equalizer. Appearing in the familiar layout of a parametric equalizer, each band also includes a full featured dynamics section allowing the processor to cover an impressively wide range of applications.

I KEEP recommending this video and NOVA to people because its a Killer explainer on a LOAD of techniques even if ya dont have Nova.

TAKE MY MONEY TDR these guys need to be supported they are doing great plugins and not the same renamed plugins that everyone does in this days i have Air Eq, S Bundle and many more plugins and none of them come near to this plugin guys please dont sell out to the big companies you are doing some AMAZING PLUGIN WORK you deserve a plugin award for your job!!
This is becoming one of my favorite EQs along with Kotelnikov for bus compression.

Love this plugin. They really did a great job on all the features plus it doesn't get in the way. Tokyo Dawn killed it on this one!

Dan is great at teaching the purpose of these tools. I finally understand what an expander is and why i should use it on my hi-hats
I use Nova on most tracks now. Very useful for problematic frequencies.

I can't believe they managed to make a such a powerful, beautiful, and easy-to-understand VST. They even made an in-plugin help function (question mark in top right)!
I tried Kotelnikov and was blown away by it, so gave this a chance. After understanding the genius behind the concept of parallel eqing, I was blown away again. Best free plugins in the history of free plugins

These guys are so smart. They have some crazy Jedi mind tricks happening. I downloaded their free NOVA plugin - it has no restrictions, *no ads* (just a little inconspicuous heart button that shows you the “Gentleman’s Edition”), wysiwyg interface, intuitive - and I love it so much that I’m definitely getting the GE. What the cow?
Thats, it, I'm officially speechless. I feel like an absolute idiot. I've been pretty heavy into the audio scene for a few years now. I've progressed to buying things like PCM Lexicon Reverb bundle, Slate bundles, and many, many, more plugins. I've spent thousands of dollars.
Then, I come across a plugin that appears to be completely mind-blowing in what its capable of. For free? My brain asks, whats the catch. My brain, is used to spending a shit load of money, for audio quality. I can tell you something, if this plugin sounds as good as it appears to be, I will push this company and market it as much as I can possibly can. I'll find a way. Because damn, you'll have my respect. I'll be more than happy to pay for your gentleman's additions if you end up providing me with solutions.
I was going to buy RND Steinberg Bundle(Neve Portico Emulations), as.. well.. I really do have a great respect for the Neve sound and Rupert Neve himself. I guess I wanted to have a full Neve signal path, since I have a Neve Portico 5012 Dual Channel Mic Pre and the mere thought of having a full signal chain thats neve, is.. well.. exciting. The plugs are 400 euros though. One problem. It hurts the wallet. A lot.
But to be honest, I might not actually do that. I might just buy your plugins instead if they live up to the expectations and be happy for the rest of my life :P lol.

This and TDR Limiter 6 is all you need in your mastering chain.

Dan da man, thanx for the explanation, i've been using nova ge for a while now , however i have learnt a lot of new powerful methods of utilising the nova in my mixes "sticky mode and wideband thing".tokyo damns always knock it out of the park with their awesome plugins

The name of the guy in the video is Dan Worral. He has a youtube channel where he geeks out on EQs among other things and all of them feature his nice soothing voice. Highly recommend it!

This plugin is wonderful, I use it on guitars to control room and cab resonances and low end buildup during palm mutes. I can't wait to get the GE version. It's the only EQ I'll ever need. TDR is such a cool company that makes so many great products (Kotelnikov, SlickEQ). Keep up the great job.
I got the problem that the frequencies do not show up within the eq. All parameters etc. work greatly! :) It is a wonderful EQ, thank you!

You guys are the best! I've been using a multiband compressor for mastering and now have to make the switch to parallel dynamic equalizing. Much better price than the Fab Q. I'm a hug fan of the VOS Slick Eq for individual tracks, the color it ads is so smooth and gentle. Glad I found this for my mastering needs! Also, the narrator of these videos has an awesome voice. It makes everything sound expensive, haha. But the price is incredible! Thanks again 👍🏽
Without doubt my favourite plugin, and has been for years. This can't be free. About time I bought the Gentlemans Edition even though I'm not sure I really need the extra features. I've watched this vid at least 6 times before, and every time I understand one more of the amazing options the free version has. Now I'll have even more options with the GE. Nerd alert for sure!

Update: Just got Nova GE today.
Just bought Limiter No. 6 GE yesterday and I have to get this one too next week. That way, I think I will be close to where I want to be in mixing and mastering. I should be very close to getting the sound I am looking for with these two.

I'm late to the game and I just bought this during the BF sale, and I love it, already loved the free version. However, I do wish we had a Peak/RMS compression toggle and a knob to control the knee. These features would for me make multi-band compressors completely obsolete.
Want to say thank you for this plug. It's fantastic. When I picked it up, I'm pretty sure there was no GE option, only free version (quite a while ago now).
This plug-in truly is insane in its capabilities! Ironically, the speaker's voice could have used some compression to pump up the volume, pump up the volume.
