Two different things I think are interesting to discuss.
The apes themselves practice speciesism inside their own society as a caste system. Orangutans are the leaders, gorillas are the military, and chimpanzees are scientists. It shows that there are expected roles for everyone based on their species inside the universe of the movies. But it is also a reflection on how humans perceive different types of apes since humans are the ones that made the movie.
The other aspect is Ceasar starting the ape revolution. Had Zira and Cornelius not gone back in time then the revolution might not have happened. It's a solid example of a bootstrap paradox. If they hadn't gone back in time there wouldn't be a planet ruled by apes to send them back in time.

The Tim Burton remake kills me. He could’ve gone with any national Monument being remade as an ape monument. But he chose Aperaham Lincoln! 😭

I think it's funny. After watching Edward scissor hands again i often wonder if Burton directs all of his movies with the same kind of Irony. Like on the surface it's fine but underneath that there is this almost silly level of tongue and cheek humour.

Nice insight. However, you mispronounced Dr. Zaius' name.
