Seriously underrated Sean William Scott comedy is *Evolution.* Also stars David Duchovny, Julianne Moore, and Orlando Jones. Entertaining from beginning to end.
was that song really their greatest hit? I had a Kiss phase in my early teens (in the 2000s, therefor long after their prime) and that song never struck with me, as in I would skip it most of the times. And it's not like I had a problem with the style or Peter Criss's voice...I think Hard Luck Woman is a way better song that's pretty similar. I find it hard to grasp that Beth was more of a hit than jams like Love Gun, Strutter, Detroid Rock City and Rock'n Roll All Night. But especially I Was Made For Loving You, which I heard randomly on the radio FAR more often than any other Kiss songs combined...unless you count the radio in GTA San Andreas, in which case Strutter would be #1
You better rewatch Goon now, then Slap Shot movies, and then finish off with Shoresy, it has season 3 coming out today in US, and likely soon in rest of the world too.
As I grow older, some people start to look the same, Margot Robbie, Samara weaving, and the blonde chick from my name is earl, all look the same to me, even though they are all a solid 5+ years apart. So far it’s just those 3, but I wonder who it’ll be in 10 years for me.
@@donyates7300 Wait, there's 3 of them. I was sure Samara Weaving was just Margot Robbie, and that it was just Margot Robbie and Jaime Pressly who looke alike. And now that I googled it, apparently there's a 4th one as well. A blond Emma Mackey is a doppelganger of those three women too.
@vincegamer true, but if I recall correctly his character never interacted with Christopher Mintz-Plasse's character, only the ones played by Jonah Hill and Michael Cera. At that point in the film Christopher was busy mingling with the cops played by Seth Rogen and Bill Hader
The guy playing Cumbaya poorly on the guitar is director David Wain, and a lot of the people in this movie show up in all of his stuff. If you like this movie you should watch his earlier movie Wet Hot American Summer - it's fucking ridiculous but the cast is stacked with people that were mostly unknown or not that big yet but would become enormous stars (including Bradley Cooper's debut). Also that Wings song they sing is a made up song that happens to sound like it absolutely could be a Wings song - to keep up the joke they hired a Paul McCartney impersonator to sing it over the end credits. So many people thought it was actually a Wings song which cracks me up. Also Augie absolutely looks like a young Marvin Hamlisch.
The song that is supposedly performed by Wings(Love take me down), is a running joke in the movie. It’s actually a Wings tribute band that perform it in the style of Paul’s band. The group Wings never wrote or recorded it.
The basics are right but the details are wrong. It was written by a composer who worked on the film and the guy who plays Martin in the style of Wings and performed by a Paul McCartney soundalike who plays in a Beatles tribute band.
My favorite part is that they make it in universe. If you watch Wanderlust, there is a scene where they walk up on a group of them playing music and they are singing "Love Take me Down to the Streets" lmao.
I love this era of comedies “i Love you man” is one of my favorite Paul rud movies . That one and the one with Jennifer Anniston where they are at the hippy community , hillarious
28:50- One of the funniest lines, I've ever heard in a movie "If you white, then you Ben Affleck" Like...that's not how it works at all. Then who's Matt Damon?
I had never heard of this movie for a long time until people at the club I worked at kept telling me how I'd love it because I'm such a huge KISS fan. They were right, I really like this movie.
Ok kids, Paul McCartney had a band called Wings from 1971 to 1981. Members changed over the years, but the nucleus was Paul, his eife Linda, and guitarist Denny Laine. They had a number of hit songs through that time, but one of their highlights was the James Bond theme Live and Let Die.

I hope you guys watched the gag reel. It's gold. There's a funny ass joke where Rudd and Banks say a line to each other that they said to each other in Wet Hot American Summer.

One very fun Paul Rudd movie is "I Could Never Be Your Woman" with Michelle Pfeiffer and Saoirse Ronan in a very early role. It's cute and fun, but not genius. I find a lot of funny stuff in this one, but it certainly isn't a classic, but still enjoyable. Had fun watching with you two.
