I am so glad someone mentioned Luffy's most likely immunity to the Tremor fruit due to his rubber constitution. Low key that's pretty clever if it's true.

@@taptiotrevizo9415 Depends on a head to head fight. I was only referring to the likelyhood that Luffy could surprisingly have a counter to one of BB's fruits. Plus in that case Luffy still has his haki to fight back and break free as the nullification is only while BB is directly grabbing him.
You know why shanks had gomu2 fruit on his ship? Because he want's to take down whitebeard....

My guess is Whitebeard had awakened the fruit which allows him to control the tremors so precisely, such as being able to coat his weapons with it. A normal Gura Gura no mi would just be the big cracking of the world and such, more like what we've seen from big bad Blackbeard

rubber cannot withstand plasma which is what lightning and unlike electricity, lightning has so much more heat that it can cause fire and break things on its own. If lightning really hit rubber, it would be destroyed and burned.
I have this weird memory and perhaps is was a fan translation but I remember it being called the quake-quake fruit for awhile. but like I said it might have been an unofficial translation.

Out of everything we’ve seen, I would say the awakening would probably have been grabbing hold of the air for Island Shaking, because the results of that attack just plain don’t make sense.

Regarding Awakening of the Gura Gura No Mi in relation to BB - I reckon it could either be a case of:
* BB was able to carry over his experience of awakening his own fruit (assuming that he did awaken his fruit), to more quickly awaken the Gura Gura No Mi ability (he also has seen WB use this ability for many years)
* Depending on how BB extracted the powers from WB, he may have taken in the power in it's post-awakening state (i.e. he would not have been able to use WBs abilities if he had only taken the unawakened base abilities of the DF)

What would be cool is if an awakened form of the guro guro no mi would be able to send vibrations through time as well. As an example is if say Whitebeard were swinging at an enemy who was about to dodge. Then he could move his enemies future into the blades future as well so he hits them after all
An awesome video on a awesome devil fruit power. Instead of eating it I'd probably feed it to a sword or hammer. Would still take time to master as a physical weapon but could have more control of it's power when on the battlefield.
Here's a utility for it.
With fine enough shockwaves you could be an effective miner, grinding away useless stone.
Plus the destructive power could be useful for tearing down old buildings, so you'd be pretty handy for any big projects like that.
Hie, Guro, Goro and Magu are some of the few fruits that have the ability to destroy the whole world. Even if it's not the whole world, Hie have the power to bring back Ice age, Magu can reach temperatures up to 2'120 F and that's pretty destructive to me. One volcano is pretty dangerous, now imagine a moving volcano that can erupt whenever it wants (aka akainu) and lastly, Goro. A lighting bolt can reach temperatures up to 30,000 kelvins (53,540 degrees Fahrenheit) plus I believe you can move at the speed of lightning and hit anybody from any range as long as you know where you're aiming your lightning bolts. Also this is anime. People turn lightning into something like a beam in anime and shit so yea lol

If I had a chance to eat two devil fruits it would be the tremor tremor fruit and the mag mag fruit. Do to the fact that the mag mag fruit has and amazing office and defence and I feel like they would be able to compliment each other well were it would allow either fruit would allow the other enough time to set up some devastating attacks
This fruit has insane potential since the user can control and create vibrations imagine if someone trained with it enough they could manipulate the vibrations of your particles you couldn't move or your particles would break away after the bonds between them were destroyed vaporisation

In terms of awakening; it is possible that what Whitebeard was doing WAS the awakened version and the fruits reset after death.
This didn't apply to Blackbeard because he didn't inherit the fruit from the usual means but rather dragged it directly from Whitebeard before the power could go to a new fruit and "reset".

Hey one Awakening idea that me and a friend got over is that since vibrations are technically movements and most things in the world can move, wouldn't that mean that white beard will be able to like just since every or any type of movement in the world so in a way if that could be the case for the Guerra Guerra know me that would mean if whitebeard or blackbeard could essentially just become omniscient but that's the only thing we could think of for a gura gura no mi Awakening

The zushi zushi no mi is also quite a strong paramecia being able to manipulate gravity and summon meteors

i remember when i first watched one piece i thought the gura gura no mi's shockwaves were it literally being able to break reality(which i thought the cracks we're especially when whitebeard punched condensed waves & easily could see an awakening doing that.) and think something like that may happen when the strawhats fight blackbeard.(him being reckless with it i could see luffy use alongside rubber's vibrations to get an advantage,be only a problem with his crew avoiding it's effects.)
I have a speculation in regards of blackbeard mastery on gura-gura no mi and awakening, he absorbed every essence of the fruits power from it's user that's included any awakening the fruits had, when one fruit user dies its essence or power slowly flow out of their body after some time it'll form a new fruit again.
If awakening does inherited by the fruits then any average Joe's can became earthquake monster after eating tremor fruit rather than Vibrating boytoy.

Wow! this fruit is actually so much more powerful then I thought. Think about it. You control and make vibrations, you control a law of the universe! That's too much power.
Maybe the awaking is gaining control of it? How to use it in exact moderation.
Just a theory of mine, but what if the tremor-tremor fruit can recreate two conqueror haki's clashing with one another, and it doesn't knock people out but makes the vibrations or shockwaves of the clashing stronger
I think the Awakening for gura gura is like you can shoot a ball of shockwaves and when it hits something it burst and shoots the shockwaves throughout what it hit

Hi I recently reminded myself about thing called atsu atsu no mi, in other words this fruit that generated heat, idk if it is not in canon but I thought you should know.
The only awakening I could think of for this fruit is for you just to think of a place and cause a tremor. As from what I can recall WB can only make a tremor on his immediate vicinity. Imagine that, big able to think of a location, and destroy it. Your basically an inter ballistic buster call.

With ghe kind of shockwaves this fruit can do, is there an "inferior" version based on sound and echos? You can make any sound, or project noises where ever you want. Maybe even make a loudspeaker.
Here's a question for you to Ponder, If there are long Leg, Long arm, and Long neck/Snake neck Tribes, Is it possible There is a Long Nose tribe and God king Usopp is a secret/lost member of it?
If it wasn't already awakened, you could argue Awakening could give the user the Flash's super-fast molecular vibration ability, so they could phase through walls and attacks. Is it useful with the sheer power of this fruit & armament Haki already exsisting? Not really. But I like the idea that a super powerful fruit has a far less impressive Awakening.
That's why whitebeared didn't have sex

Based on what is now known about paramecia fruits whitebeard did have his fruit awakened but Blackbeard doesn’t necessarily have it awakened but what I’m talking about is whitebeard grabbing the air and shaking the island of marineford and surrounding sea
You ever just wander what whitebeard was thinking when he made that seaquake as an opening move at marineford,if Aokiji didn't freeze that everybody, including ace would be big,big trouble,he knew about aokiji so the only way for me to make sense of this is that he wanted aokiji freeze it so that they could have a foot hold
another reason that blackbeard could have the powers of the awakened Gura Gura is because he took it from whitebeard's corpse (however that works is still speculation)
also, an interesting combat use I can think of for the fruit would be condensing shockwaves in your hand and picking something up... you could be a human cannon with this... theoretically
