Yes ,postal package are only for those aspirants,who only want some revisions in subject ,with not any deep understanding.
But ,if some one try to prepare by self,and read this book along with some standard text book.(only for third or second year students)
It will boost your preparation.

This depends a lot on subject…it’s complexity, your inclination towards it, syllabus, it’s weightage in exam and the list goes on…however to optimise the time, I usually clubbed a lengthy subject (like fluids) with 2 other small subjects (like robotics, maths)…and try to finish all three (sometimes just two!) in the same timeframe…all the best!
