    A new problem I wasn't aware until now.😭
    Watching this video I realise that all this time I was actually deducting whether is can or can't from the context🤣 which is helpful but not always work.

    I got 20/20. I just looked over at the sentence and was all ears to them while they came out, I didn't need to think a lot before choosing the right answers. In contrast, there is a subtle difference between can and can't, it's just the game to notice the nuanced sound ( which means focus on emphasis, nine out of ten, can't is stressed over can). What a fascinating and informative lesson!!

    20 of 20. There is a subtle difference in the sound and the context itself. You just need to listen carefully until you get both components.

    Sometimes it’s hard to get it right especially when can or can’t are in the middle of the sentence. I just focus on the context of the sentence.

    Ethan, I have no words to thank you for what you are doing for all of us. After only one week watching your videos I can understand at least 80% of all I listen in english, with no subtitles! That's unbelievable 'cause my listening skills were so bad! I know that I still have to improve my writing skills but it doesn't matter rightnow because I am really happy and proud of myself.     even after your explanation, it still sound exactly the same to me. when someone tell to me you can t do that.. I just assume he said whatever advantage me, can or can t

      idk if he mentioned it on this video or not, but i’d recommend paying attention to the emphasis! if the emphasis is on the modal, it’s normally “can’t”; if it is on the next word, which is usually a verb, then its “can”

    Do Americans always say "kun" with a schwa? I often thought we often say "ken" with a short e. Why do you say schwa sound verses the short e sound?
