My self-esteem has been chipped away by abusive relationships. And while I can rebuild myself, I still can't trust and believe in men.

I have been single for two years and I have worked on myself and when I found out who I was then I understood what type of man I wanted in my life. I had to end a relationship with a "looks challenged" individual but financially he was set. I gave him a chance. He ended up being the worst man I had ever dealt with..cheater, liar, alcoholic, always in the club. Overall, he had issues. His character was off. Now I'm truly focused on character.

I know he’s the one because I let the Holy Spirit lead me. Prayed hard about it for months and then asked for confirmation, a specific sign to wait for this one and not move on. I got that sign. Literally saw a dream where to find him after my phone broke and we couldn’t get in contact with him, found him exactly how the dream showed. Had a five year absence, we started back talking again exactly how I dreamt we would......I seem to have prophetic type dreams a lot. But mostly more when I focus on Jesus and pray instead of worrying about him or relationships

Thank God for wisdom and discernment. I’m 28 my son’s father is 34. We were together 4 years and no sign of marriage being in his mind unless I brought it up. I got out of that this year. I had to end a relationship with a "looks challenged" individual but financially he was set. I gave him a chance. He ended up being the worst man I had ever dealt with..cheater, liar, alcoholic, always in the club. Overall, he had issues. His character was off.
Now I'm truly focused on character.

Literally saw a dream where to find him after my phone broke and we couldn’t get in contact with him, found him exactly how the dream showed.
Had a five year absence, we started back talking again exactly how I dreamt we would......I seem to have prophetic type dreams a lot. But mostly more when I focus on Jesus and pray instead of worrying about him or relationships
