Just what I've been looking into lately, and much appreciated! I'd love to see a video on tryptophan metabolism disregulation and insulin resistance/mitochondrial dysfunction next :)
Thanks, I am finding it super complicated, especially when it gets down to the Kyn/Trp ratios and the metabolites. You do have a gift tho for making complicated subjects easy to understand, so I'll keep my fingers crossed!
I got confused towards end of video so the energy crisis is beneficial only when done on a intermittent basis because of done consecutively it would result in oxidative stress? Is that the take home message also how does this relate to thyroid the fire razor lol
Oh dear ! Sorry for not being clear on the energy crisis scenario. You are right, intermittent is good, permanent, not so much. The thyroid "fire razor", l love it, might "borrow it" from you......... is influencing mitochondrial biogenesis, through PGC1 alpha and a couple of other transcription factors. Mother Nature always has more than one way to skin a cat.
A little nervous of posting here. Worried about it being picked up spam bots. I already get more spam that I can cope with. It is available in the About section of the You-tube page. Alternatively go to better body chemistry blog and trigger the chat bot to talk to me privately.

Tryptophan is a tough nut to crack. Will put it on my radar. Thanks for the suggestion.
