I happen to run across Beth Hart accidentally a couple months ago now I cannot stop listening to this woman I just looked at the same old videos from 1999 oh my she was on her way out of here I just thank God and he reached out and saved her this woman this woman that's all I can say if I ever get the opportunity to see her up closing in person I'll be there I ain't no kid but I tell you this woman and Joe man all I can say is 💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃
Thank you so much for posting this! Finally I found it!!! I watched this on German television at 17 years old and it blew me away. I used to record Rockplast on VHS Saturday late at night and watched it later, but somehow I lost this tape. Beth Hart is lucky to have survived this era, so genius, yet so frightening fragile, just amazing music.

This show completely wows me to the core. I've been a Beth fan for many years and have seen all of her pro-shot live performances, from Paradiso to Royal Albert Hall and everything in between, and this is hands down my favorite. I know this was when she was going through some rough times, but it in no way prevented her from delivering her soul to the audience. She just blasts you in the chest with her raw power and authenticity. The woman is on fire! And this band... well my god. They kill it. Bill Ransom attacks the drums like he's trying to kill them, but he does it with so much finesse and groove you feel satisfaction watching him do it. And forgive me for saying this, and this is no way intended as a knock to Jon Nichols, but Jimmy Khoury is a killer player and a key ingredient that made this show so special. I LOVE his feel. Just listen to that tone at 42:12. Perfection. Yeah, I wish this show were available on bluray or even dvd.

Beth sings and almost screams the soul out of her "emaciated" body. Absolutely fascinating. for me actually the best live concert by Beth Hart, even a little better than "live at Paradiso".
By the way, for me all of their guitarists are a lot better than Joe Bonamassa. Jimmy Khoury AND Jon Nichols have, what Bonamassa lacks. These two have the soul, Bonamassa is "only" a (very) good guitarist.
@@mrresident1959 Everyone has advantages and disadvantages, nothing is perfect. The important thing is how we enjoy the overall performance of Beth Hart as a group.
@@mrresident1959 it is somewhat fashionable to pontificate on how Joe Bonamassa has no "soul"-- that must have been exactly what BB King was thinking when he asked Joe to open for him at age 12! ("Hey kid, you play great but with no soul, so why not open for me?...yeah, that sounds reasonable). And at 24 (about to be 25) #1 albums on the Blues Charts and counting, Bonamassa must be pulling the wool over our eyes. Shit, even Beth Hart writes a song about him...Yep, getting past those preconceptions is a bitch...
