Remembering the last time you brought your family to the Carrizzo Plain for the Superbloom. They kids have matured so much, yet retain their interest and curiosity. Amazing drone shots of the hillsides in bloom - stunning! Thanks for sharing the geology of the area, too.
It is so wonderful to see parents doing outside activities with their children. One day they will realize how lucky they were. Keep up the great work. 👍🙏❤️
favourite moments. Explaining the San Andreas and the creek. the drone footage.(what a perspective it puts on our lives and where we are at any moment). The footage of the hillside blooms. When Pete sneezes(I have allergies)Finally the shot of the two kids and the dog fast asleep. It's an honest sleep one gets on an adventure like this.
Absolutely loved those pictures of all the flowers and the pictures of the mountains with all the different colors on them. And the music was perfect to go along with it. I've never made it to the Carrizo Plain even though I've lived in California all my life. But we did live in some places that had flowers almost that good ;-) . I also really liked seeing where that creek met up with the San Andreas Fault. It really shows the movement well. Thanks for the beautiful flower photos.
Super Bloom Super Sneezes. Nice time with the Grand Kids. In Blancoliro style a little history and geography lesson. Thank You ! Whenever you get sick of the B.S on the fear mongering fake news head here for a little truth and inspiration the world is not a total turd. There is decent people out there. Thanks Juan for taking me along on your adventures. From a fellow Air Force Veteran you are my friend even though we never met.
Your kids probably do not recognize is now, but later on the will have a s..t load of fun memories of going on road trips with there parents. Keep them going and enjoy them!
I was somewhat relieved when you finally included your wife in a video. For so long all I saw was you and an occasional child. Good for you being a father and a husband.
Spectacular vistas and views as well as music. . I’m taking a short break from trying to create my own colorful gardens while the wife practices her guitar. Wonderful that you share the family experience. I miss that but glad to see my own kids doing the glamping thing sharing the lifestyle
You and your wife have the biggest smiles and two nice, cold, big frothy brews! A coincidence? I think not! Fun video Juan...too bad the people running CA are so off track, because the once beautiful CA bloom is off the rose!
Dear Juan, Many thanks for sharing this springs beauty on the California Carrillo Plains with the family and Chewy, No trolls or wachadooles today. Your videos and editing are superb. Ray Daley, Queen Creek, AZ
Blinkin eck ( Yorkshire UK expression! ) Juan, not only a very talented pilot but also seismologist, nature lover, dog lover and wild country lover, we could be twins haha!!! Thank you very much for your delightful contribution to our World media.
Very pleasant and relaxing, love the spectacular vista, texture, color and the Spanish Guitar. Also have an interest in Geology and Plate techtonics so enjoyed seeing the creek deviation amount over the millennia. You always manage to find the coolest spots, nicely done, again!
Lovely trip! Your kids sure are lucky to be able to spend so much great, quality time with both of their parents in amazing places. You guys are building some wonderful memories to share. I totally *loved* the photo of Jenny, Pete and Chewie (Chuey? Chuie?) snuggled up like cute little bugs in rugs.
THANK YOU for taking the time and effort to find interesting music to enhance your videos... so many RUclipsrs are lazy and click on the default YT riffs which have been heard many times and are actually becoming irritating. KUDOS JUAN! Thank You!
Great way to cap off a Saturday. Beautiful scenery, music and family. The earthquake thing, I don't know. Looking forward to your next video. Thanks Juan.
thanks juan...i enjoy finding out about where you live i wish i was there...you are blessed to live in such a big, free, beautiful country...besr wishes to you and yours
That was absolutely wonderful Juan. Thank you. You have a real knack for pairing music with photography and video. I encourage you to do an ongoing series of 'audio/visual essays' when your muse inspires you. You have something here that can become as much of a mainstream art form as painting, sculpting, or dance. Please find the time to explore this more.
Ah.. Vacations when your Dad is a airline pilot. My Dad flew for North Central & we went all over the US, including Hawaii. My Mom was a stewardess for TWA (not flight attendant). Then came to N Central, that's when I came along. :) I actually went to work with my Dad once. Sat in the jump seat. Thanks for reminding me about the good ole days!
Great video Juan.I love the final still shot of the family in the bar. I just spotted an interesting Irish sign over the upright piano in the background. 'Failte' meaning 'Welcome'. The wonderful Brown family are welcome back over here any time. Best wishes from the O'Sullivan family, Dublin, Ireland.
Another amazing video JB! Thanks for posting. It shall be written the the journals of eternity that you are Prince amongst mere mortals with a beautiful crew to guide you. You even have “Chewie the Wonder Dog” to fly as your wingman!

What a wonderful trip to enjoy those Super Blooms. Thanks so much for sharing and taking us along, Jaun.Stay safe on your travels and great adventures.Keep making those family memories!
Springtime "Gopher Snakes" as others come out to sun and warm up. They shake there tail to mimic Rattle Snakes so people and other things stay away. What a beautiful specimen about 4 ft. I'd say. I'd love to have one or two to keep the ground squirrels out of the garden. Thanks for the video of the flowers and Fault Line. Don't forget to visit the Parkfield Hotel and Diner !
In the mid 1950's and 60's my aunt lived in a house that was "right on" the San Andreas Fault a bit north of San Francisco, in Palomarin near Point Reyes. The house would shift back and forth several times a day, so often we just got used to it.
What an awesome video! I absolutely enjoyed everything about it. Although you forgot to list Chewy in the credits. Very educational about the fault. The old photos were neat to see as well. Thank you for sharing and taking us along. 👍🏻👍🏻✌🏻
Great views of the superbloom! Nice job on the explanation of the San Andreas Fault offset at Wallace Creek. Last earthquake there was in 1857, so the stress has been building for over 160 years.
Beautiful video! We also visited there this year, got some great pictures. Hubby has gone back 4 times since on dirt bikes to explore the back trails. He has met some great people on these trips.
Thanks Juan, NorCal is one spectacular area. Thanks to your travel logs, I have been getting out to explore more of Northern California on SFO TOD’s and it is a very diverse landscape. I even rented a 182 last week and went for a fly around the foothills, wow! Can’t wait to do more GA flying in your part of the world! Take care and fly well and thanks for the great content.
Hello Juan, glad to see you and the family having so much fun. In MI here and when I was a teenager I thought I'd love to live in CA, (1960s). My wife and I did live in OR, Tillamook area 1970-1973 while in the USAF but with the way things have been going lately I have no desire to live on the LEFT coast any longer. Our lakes are all level and stable here, LoL. George
thank you ! it was a joy to see what i was not able to get to in real time. your video captured the fantastic colors better than any other video on super bloom. also, funny thing, im reading an elizabeth george mystery ( not her best), and i had just watched your video on ironbridhe UK. and wouldnt you know theres a good desl of the plot that occurs just there ! . love your content. so smart and so true. please keep it up. k
If you ever get out to SoCal, be sure to visit The Devils Punchbowl in Antelope Valley. Right on my the fault line and awe striking. I fly a DJI Phantom Pro. Been thinking about the Mavik. Great job!
Trucking isn't a glamorous job but to travel and see the landscape of America is spectacular especially the Northwest.
Remembering the last time you brought your family to the Carrizzo Plain for the Superbloom. They kids have matured so much, yet retain their interest and curiosity. Amazing drone shots of the hillsides in bloom - stunning! Thanks for sharing the geology of the area, too.

I grew up in Blythe, CA, 1948 - 1959, and remember the Mojave Desert "blossoming as a rose" many times.
Absolutely loved those pictures of all the flowers and the pictures of the mountains with all the different colors on them. And the music was perfect to go along with it. One of the great ironies of a life in aviation is the profound love one develops for the surface of the earth!
Yes! You spend too much of your life 'up there' wondering what's it like down there?
@@blancolirio Better be up there once these tectonic plates slip ;)
I agree, adventure where it's at!
Great presentation for spring. Enjoyed it tremendously.
Very nicely done, love the music too.

As a 'musician', I really enjoy choreographing interesting, obscure, traditional music to video that I've shot.
Ah.. Vacations when your Dad is a airline pilot. My Dad flew for North Central & we went all over the US, including Hawaii. My Mom was a stewardess for TWA (not flight attendant). Yeah, "interesting," if you're suicidal. It would really be an incredibly dangerous place to be when "The Big One" hits.
Well, you wouldn't feel a thing, standing there !!!! :)
Beautiful scenery, amazing flowers! Grew up in Taft, visited Carrizo a couple of times. Wonderful outdoor location! Thanks, Juan!
You let the images speak for themselves 😊
What beauty!! Thanks for sharing the adventure. Love the music you picked as well.

I want to fly my paramotor up there sometime in the future when I get a little more experience. I live down the hill in Bakersfield.
Great views of the superbloom! Nice job on the explanation of the San Andreas Fault offset at Wallace Creek. Last earthquake there was in 1857, so the stress has been building for over 160 years.

The area in this video, the Carrizo Plain is actually in southern California, just so there's no confusion.
Thanks for the correction, still a very beautiful area. Love California both North and South!
Good job on the photography blancolirio.
Some beautiful photos, Juan.
