I know it's eons late, but here's the lyrics. The song's intro comes from Psalm 24:9. Lift up your heads O you gates And let the King of Glory come in! Lift up your he--ee--eads O you gates And let the King of Glory come in! Who is this King of Glory? Jah Ras-ta-far-i And I would love this I know Jah Ras-ta-far-i Fools in their hearts Say Jah Jah dead ( Say Rasta dead) But they don't know What they said Fools in their hearts Say Ras-ta dead But they don't know What they said I give my thanks and praise to Jah Ras-ta-far-i And I would love this I know Se-las-sie I--!
These are the original lyrics. Lift up your head are you game, and let the king of glory come in, Lift up your head are you game, and let the king of glory come in, Who is this king of glory? Jah Rastafari, And i will love and prise him, the rest of my life. Fools in there hearts, say Jah name But they don't know, what they say. Fools in there hearts, say Jah name, They try to leave you a stray, I give my thanks and prise to Jah Rastafari, And I will love and prise him the rest of my life.

HR is really into this heavy rollin' rhythm...how I'd love to be with him on stage skanking to the hypnotic sound...but I was born 10 years later...shit^^
Dont ask all the tittles of their songs or name a song. Coz freakin dont know. But I know how they sound like and I like it. ( name 4 songs? IM NOT SPOTIFY)
Great stuff from a seminal band more associated with hardcore and a hardcore well before it's time that helped shape thrash metal because they knew how to play but overlooked unfortunately.

What album was this song from??
NO GODS. NO MASTERS. ( and no kings too.)
Respect the another cultchah, mi bredda.
Hey does anybody knows where is this song from?? I mean, if it is from bad brains or another band...wich album too. Thanks, jah rastafari!!
The original is a Christian Hymn by W.F.Jabusch www.hymnary.org/hymn/PsH/370... with a sick rhythm and meter of 12/12 timing.. influenced by a Traditional Hebrew Song Im not familiar with, but it has an eastern euro swing to it like the guys that squat hop and go "hey" on the down beat... I grew up loving this song in parochial school all the best music is influenced by Church Music from The Blues which birthed Soul and RocknROll, which birthed Punk to Hip Hop.. "Before There was Punk there was A Band Called Death"
And I think this version is a Bad brains original given the lyrics but i don't think it made any albums I have literally everything and I've only seen this song in this live video, I also have access to a shit load of their vids through an old school punk bandmate that saw them in DC back before banned in DC..
