Stereotypes aside, I love this genre so much I'd listen to this video as if it was just a regular song.
"Our bassist mixed the album" has to be my favorite. I do like to hear the bass, even if some would argue that it's pointless.

Adriel Lightvale Bro bass is one of the most important instrument in any genre of music
Bass is extremely important, there’s a reason modern music particularly pop has almost completely gotten rid of melodic instruments and replaced them with big boi bass
Adriel Lightvale bass is super important even if you can’t properly hear it to safe a life. Listen to The Trooper without bass and try not to cry at how empty everything sounds
But bass is like super necessary, if you want to have any sort of balance between frequencies

I really disliked Sleeping with sirens but when I heard that ambient lead riff I gave them another chance and listened to them again. I still hate them, but your riff is pretty dope :)

Why didnt you like SWS? Not here to argue just curious because it seems a lot of people are like meh when it comes to them from what i saw and i loved their music and while their last few albums i see why theyre not as liked, the new song was praised and i dont get why. They had a metalcore sound but their lyrics seemed to be more emotional so idk.
Not to be that kind of guy but why "hate"? Did you have a bad relationship where your significant other was into SWS and it caused you emotional toll for every time you listen to it? I know someone who has that reason

Brady Bigbear exactly! A bassist’s job is to help lay down groundwork for a song, while also not getting in the way of the guitarist, or the vocalist. The job is similar for drums.

Haha nice one I love some of those riffs. And that's why I love the most post-hardcore from all core music genres, so much diversion and styles in this kind of music. I think there is even more in post-hardcore to find.

The scene Metalcore bands took those elements from the likes of Norma Jean, Everytime I Die, Poison The Well, & Hopesfall.

I do the same I make random pop punk and post hardcore songs with this methodology here it's pretty nice to put names to the technical aspects of the guitar that we approached.
