    5/10 I get wanting to take it fast for the last 12 measures, but rushing the entire piece just because you can do the runs at that speed while the rest suffers? Next!

      Lol you are so stupid it hurts to read... But hey, maybe that is the reason Guerrier is famous and you are a loser

      @@longjohnlannister9222 Im pretty sure I know more than you about trumpet, since it is my full time job. But however, your "know-it-all"-attitude towards David is just hilarious. He is a fantastic trumpet player (won a lot of respectable jobs and competitions) and just because he has another interpretation of this piece, don't give him a "5/10" or "rush to show off". Lol!

    • @RobertJ21
      @RobertJ21 5 лет назад +7

      I mean, he played it pretty well, like pretty daanng well... and music has different interpretations according to certain people and how they portray what they see..... and their opinions on what they portray might be a joy to maaanny other people listening... you're not the one playing the song, and if it can positively affect one person, its worth while
      EDIT: and i do agree with Marcus, i mean he seems to know what he is talking about

      You know maybe my score was a little low cause he does nail almost all of the piece and I get his whole faster interpretation deal but I thought his few mistakes were big ones that should be dealt with if a performance is going to be recorded. Mainly the run 6 measures before rehearsal 2, that e instead of Eflat is a notorious spot that will be botched if not looked at fairly often. I know this cause I actually am playing this piece in a few months and did that same flub this week. I'm not busting this guy as a player because yes he can crush me birth sound wise and technically. I'm just not going to like it as much as sommerhalders or ghitalia a recordings because I don't think David wasnt as prepared for a recording as they were...
