Hey, Jake... It's nice that you took that Mustang out and gave it some love. I remember your frustration with that trem system. It seems you got it set up nice now. I love these videos. There is always something to learn if a person just watches and listens. Thanks for posting this one. I hope all is well with you and your family, John...
Next time Jake, find a bolt that screws into the insert. Place a block of wood (or whatever you have) on top of the guitar right next to the bolt and pry up against the underside of the bolt head using the wood as the fulcrum. Just for the record, sometimes I cringe when your mood says, " I don't care if I screw up this guitar a little during this mod.". But I respect everyone's own methods as their own and I roll with it. And, I am kind of an anal-retentive perfectionist, and being on the autism spectrum only increases that trait. So, Tear It Up Jake, as I watch in horror. Your channel stays at the top of my subscribed list because I check and watch it more than any other channels. Rock On!
I would follow your suggestion but this is not that type of bridge insert! It’s unthreaded for a Jag bridge. The bridge just sets in there, it doesn’t screw in. :(
@@BigJakeMusic Ok. I have not encountered that type yet. There's my new thing to learn for today. Thanks for that lesson. I think you could buy one of those small nail puller bars and make the v-shaped nail place into a U-shape to straddle the insert. You could custom fit that now while you have the inserts out and you would have it for future use. It already has a beveled edge that could be snuck under the edge of the insert to get it started and then use the whole channel as the insert raises out. :)
F*cking Gannon again and the Tri-Force You can remove the Bridge posts quick and easy with the back of a Hammer just like removing a stuck nail. Just make sure you cover the area with a cotton t-shirt or rag so you don't damage the finish. Good Job on the mods. Cheers from Toronto 🍺 🇨🇦

Thanks for the commentary and playing. What a cool project. You've made this your own. Hopefully, it gets more play time now. All the best.
Thanks Jake!

Ha! Yea, I saw that guy Sean from Scar My Guitar pull out a claw hammer and pull those bushings out. My OCD was getting me, but he did it just fine.
Does a triple single coil make it a Humbucker-bucker?
You're brave for posting this one lmfao! 👏🏼💀🎉
