After life changes, getting involved with a manufacturing business, and orthodontic appointments, the open road has called us back to part-time RV life. This time, we chose a Roadtrek Zion Slumber Class B Van for our travels. We share why and what we've been up to!

The 18,000 steps while riding in the back of the van is hilarious/not hilarious. Ughhh...I am sorry your boys have to endure that. If it means anything to them, just tell them it is like an everyday flight into the Telluride airport.
I know your van is somewhat temporary. But, I can't wait to see your adventures in it!! Vans were something that Heather and I pondered in the beginning of our considerations in about 2019 or early early 2020. But, like you, we are in the boondocking phase of life; and the travel trailer design is what has worked the best for us. But....I really dig being able to go straight from a maintained national forest dirt road to downtown of whatever city you are close to and being able to attend a music performance; and then being able to sleep right that. We generally can't do that in our travel trailer.
Thank you for the campground tip for up in MA!! Like you, I do prefer camping out in the woods and deserts on free spots where I can also relax while my dog is running around. But.....being a dude that will talk to anybody that wants to talk, the occasional visit to a campground is great too. That is really awesome that the one you stayed at was so great!!

I just watched the video of you guys on your friends’ boat, and thought FOR SURE you were going to switch it up and go nautical!
As fun as that would be, I don't think the kids would be on board (pun intended) with the idea. We switched to a campervan now and that has its own complications despite it being fun. Appreciate you commenting and following along. Wishing you well!
No matter how tempting it may be, be sure to first wake up your teenager and get him to crawl down before lowering the pop top.
