Why would you say it’s rare? Most people with what you call “street smarts” are also intelligent. You just don’t associate them with actually being intelligent because they don’t fit into what your vision of intelligence is (I.e they’re not a lawyer or a doctor). In spite of that, they have strong survival skills and are able to navigate through the real world. So, we had to invent something called “street smarts” so as not to acknowledge that people with lower socioeconomic status are intelligent. It’s a really infuriating (and racist) categorization.

Being social is complicated, full of deceit, lies, and enormous confusion. This is why I opted out of being social, years back. Neither one of the two kids, in question, know what they are doing but think the other is wrong. Yet, they are drawn to one another. This is the type of stupid drama that made me decide to opt out of being social. Something similar happened to a friend of mine, long ago. It got so confusing that she was causing fights out of their relationships and the boyfriend was threatening to hurt his own friends, their parents, and his girlfriend. When something came up about me, I decided enough. A threw all the liars and fakes out of my life. They can kill each other, for all I care. Both the boyfriend and girlfriend were threatening to sue me because I opted to protect the girlfriend and almost let her stay in my garage apartment. She wanted to sue me because her boyfriend fell down the apartment steps going to the top of the garage when he came to her garage apartment and fell down the steps and broke his arm. I threw her out of the apartment and all the people taking one side over the other and never contacted any of them ever again. However, the boyfriend wanted to sue me because he fell down the steps even though he claimed the girlfriend pushed him. I never heard the end of the stupidity. I hope they are both in jail now. I hope all the people taking sides and fighting realised how stupid they were. I know none of them now, and I am, glad I do not.
