I totally get this and in a way I feel dumber trying play old games. Sure I beat Jedi outcast as an adult and know as a kid it would never happen but I can’t tell ya how many old games I played and been like I can’t believe I figured this out as a kid without guide book or internet. Now after few minutes I’m like I don’t have time for this and look it up.
the 3rd birthday is best games for me on psp after monster hunter 3rd portable, it have multiple ending and rewarded you with new weapon, DNA and outfit by finish the game and replay it, it continue the tradition of original game (parasite eve 2) by giving you new stuff every time you replay finished game
Just FYI, you do have to try to remember how these games played based on portable gaming standards from a specific time period of 20+ years ago and not just how they play/control based on today's standards.

That's a stealth game or action/adventure. There's a difference between a shooter and a game with shooting in it. Just like how Zelda is not an RPG, even though it has RPG elements.
No Coded Arms sorry can't take this list seriously. Also multiple SOCOM entries come on SOCOM is good but you can't put every entry on a list that's ridiculous (Resistance and Killzone sure, not played Syphon Filter games or Pursuit Force but I assume they are good entries) there is surprising ones I've never heard of like Velocity but still not as thorough. Or is this based on review scores/or personal best/maybe never played it which if the case then fair but still too much noteable titles and some aren't that great at all. The noteable are here but a roguelike shooter so unique and well made ignored by most other than collectors sigh. I mean it's during a time when Konami made games that were great but overlooked by anything not Metal Gear, Castlevania and Silent Hill like Coded Arms, Enthusia and more. I can see why they never bothered continuing them even though great games overlooked by most people.
