- Our video is a guided walk of the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail in the Yorkshire Dales. The waterfalls and the scenery are awsome showing Ingleborough in the back ground. This walk is suitable for all the family and all ages and is well worth a visit.

Thank you Teresa, yes it is truly a beautiful place and to appreciate this you have to walk it. Videos are great but you can't get across just how beautiful this country is. We have already filmed three more great walks in the Yorkshire Dales, in the better weather, hopefully the first of these will be uploaded to RUclips today. Great commentary on this very if I might say professional video .it truly is a natural wonder. We were there 2 years ago in the summer. It takes about 3 hours start to finish with a picnic in between.
Hi John thank you. We are glad you enjoyed this incredible place tucked away in the Yorkshire Dales with its five major waterfalls. Last time when we visited there had been some very heavy rain for about 24 hours the day before so the noise from the falls was tremendous. Janice and I just sat by Thornton Force, wrapped up warm in our waterproofs, eating our sandwiches and drinking our cup of tea.We thought we were the only ones up there but within a few minutes another couple sat nearby, then another. We sat there for what seemed to be a long time. Everybody was just gazing towards the waterfall so noisy and yet so peaceful, what a day. All the best The Taxi Driver
Lovely memories here. It used to be free to go in and the woods would be full of bluebells in the spring and the smell of wild garlic. The little hut used to sell homemade lemonade. Thanks for taking the trouble to share your walk.

A walk I have always wanted to do and seeing this had made my mind up that 2017 will be the year! We have been twice before , the first time it was closed off and the second time we got there late after stopping off at Whitescare Caves, so did not think we had the time to complete the full walk. The village is nice, so this will be done in the new year and a visit to the local pub as well. Thanks for posting - Cheers Alan!

Hi Danny, Ingleton Waterfalls is a fabulous walk with five main waterfalls but Thornton Waterfall is outstanding. To see them in real life and listen to the roar of the falls especially after heavy rain is fabulous. We go back there when ever we can, we find it a very relaxing walk. Half way round you will see White Scar Caves in the distance where we would like to visit when we get some spare time. Enjoy the falls all the best The Taxi Driver

Thank you zaf. This is a fabulous walk anytime of the year. In the winter the waterfalls are certainly a lot more impressive but in the summer months just before Thornton Force there is a tiny cafe just set off the path, a fabulous location to stop for a cup of tea or enjoy an ice-cream, a great suntrap. This is also a great family walk at 4.75 miles. All the best The Taxi Driver
Wow mate ...just done this walk (24/72014) with hotter weather(88 degrees)..and a six year old daughter who wanted to dip her toes in every flat place we view...god... the walk is medium but with kids ...felt Scarfell pike..yes she slept,.lol.

This is a manmade waterfall, That no one should have to pay to go see, They do not charge you to walk on a pathway in a field

We did this walk last week - well about a third of it, to the first falls, as we are getting on a bit - and thought it was well worth it even just doing that much, as there has obviously been a lot of work to make it a) possible and b) safe to do the walk. (We would have appreciated a bench to sit on every now and then, it must be said.) It isn't manmade, of course, but natural, and very beautiful - I would happily pay to do it again. If the cost bothers you or is too much for you, there are lots of places you can walk for no cost in the area that are much more interesting than a field.
