There’s probably another build of this with Displacer Kitten and Invasion of Alara that wins with Grapeshot, but casting the opponent’s deck with Etali is way sweeter then just storming off.
I’m still shocked how well this deck worked tbh.

Just a really quick question; with how the stack works, can you not target etali with multiple displaced kittens and have a much higher chance to hit noncreatures to trigger the kittens again?
Edit: nvm I noticed you were doing what I said in game 2, just not in game 1
@@frog4504 The first kitten trigger will fizzle the second kitten trigger, since blinking makes targeting "lose track" of the permanent.
This seems like a goofy commander deck snuck it's way into a 60 card format. I love this.
I am now going to try and make this in commander by stuffing my deck full of tutors and ramp.
@@basmbee4325 Even with only 1 kitten it should be a fun time if you add a ton of blink spells.
Ehm... You can't have a kitten in the deck if etali is your commander...

LOL he did the same thing in the bonus game at the end using transformed Etali and killed his opponent that was using infect for poison counters using the same wincon via Etali's back side damage ability...Love it!!!!
Etali is such an exciting card that you almost forget there's a Blightsteel Colossus on the back
true ive lost a game or two by forgetting, the indestructibility would've been sweet to have

Etali is incredible, I love the card so much, but also displaced kitten is broken af for four mana, it is a commander card put into historic so yeah, high power level. I love that Etali’s etb is just super powerful and then you can straight up turn it into a blightsteel colossus if you run out of things to do and have enough mana lol

Can i just say how refreshing this editing format of MTG is? It's a nice change from " decktech at beginning, then play".
That title had me hooked and I was not dissapointed. Etali is such a fun card. I've been slingin' his older variant out of my Purphoros, Bronze Blooded EDH deck for ages now and he never fails to make me smile.
Loved this madness - and loved the F-Zero x music when you sped up the games 😉👌🏼

Man. I just hit mythic for the first time, with a 60 card version of the deck ( im still working on it, being f2p on arena is rough ). I wanted to play the deck since the vid came out, and my patience paid off i guess.

I'm kinda sad that there wasn't a "OH AH-AH-AH-AH" as Etali, Primal Sickness attacked. Because our opponent definitely got down with the sickness there. Though maybe that would cause some copyright issues.

My brother did this in a commander game. Etali was his commander. First card he hit was my displacer kitten. Dude played every card in 4 decks in one turn. It was amazing!
