This chapter centers around our final year as James and the team try to figure out the best way to end our show, with a little help from special friends like Adele, Tom Cruise and James' fellow late night hosts.

Each week night, THE LATE LATE SHOW with JAMES CORDEN throws the ultimate late night after party with a mix of celebrity guests, edgy musical acts, games and sketches. Corden differentiates his show by offering viewers a peek behind-the-scenes into the green room, bringing all of his guests out at once and lending his musical and acting talents to various sketches. Additionally, bandleader Reggie Watts and the house band provide original, improvised music throughout the show. Since Corden took the reigns as host in March 2015, he has quickly become known for generating buzzworthy viral videos, such as Carpool Karaoke."

It's a nice move to include director Tim Mancinelli in, one of probably pretty few holdovers from previous iterations of TLLS.
It's no mean feat to be able to adapt to 4 shows that were really different in the way they ran.

The Late Late Show saved me during the pandemic. The crew became like family and the laughs they gave should never be underestimated. At a really really sad time they were a source of comfort and I hope everyone involved realises how special and important that was to us.

I started watching Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and then they gave us YOU. This show was the funniest, I will forever miss the carpool karaoke segments those were the best moments.. It's a heartbreak to see the show go, but I'm happy I watched faithfully for the last 8years practically from the beginning. I wish you much success in whatever journey you take next. This was not really a late night talk show. As someone put it, it was a variety show. Eight years for a variety show really is a good run.

@@debrasnipes7431 Only got into it near the end. it seemed odd for a talk show, but soon realized the talk show aspect was minor. He involved his whole staff. He had fun "bits". Had a "news" segment. Even the chat was a bit different. (enjoyed the musical bits he did in the crosswalk at red lights)

I thoroughly enjoyed this show and will miss it. I don’t mean it in an insulting way but late night talk shows help me sleep. They put me at peace with their positive vibes and it really helps calm myself down after getting off work like 3 hours after the late night shows originally aired
