These I think are the 2 main problems in the US concerning education, they understand education as a commodity, not a right, and therefore it is somehow justified to reduce resources on schools that don't do good: low quality schools for low grades students, that's market law. The other problem of the US is believing that people are somehow selfish and lazy, that if they can get money without effort they get it. But what if the problem with many school teachers is that they teach bad because they don't feel they should bother if they are gonna make so little money? Perhaps an improvement on their wages might help them feel it's worthy to do their jobs better, that their job is valued. Here in my country we used to have an excellent public education system. When did it go down the toilet, after the big economic crisis that lead to cuts in public education budget, and if a couple decades public education quality pretty much plummeted.

Sheldon is often saying how poor his family is because his dad is a coach. In my school, the couches were given full-time teaching positions with their coaching positions. I think they made over $100k. Plus they tutored on their own time at $$100/hour.
First minute was a relatable experience- they threaten you and your family because you know you can’t afford to move or go to another school. This show is so good for pointing out the corruption in our educational system.

Even if Sheldon had only around 100 other students whose marks he had to improve, the most he could do is lift them up by 1 each, and that too assuming they all get zeros themselves. One kid leaving wasn't going to cause a 'hard' drop in scores in any school, even if it is Sheldon, even if everyone else is a bum.

They at first kept him because of sheldon and after he went to college they all of a sudden made him leave office and on top of that, the college Sheldon went to dropped the job offer to George while he was forced to quit his job at the school.
