Young Sheldon is an American comedy television series on CBS created by Chuck Lorre and Steven Molaro. The series is a spin-off prequel to The Big Bang Theory and begins with the character Sheldon Cooper at the age of nine, living with his family in East Texas and going to high school. The fact that the teachers prefer being nicer to one student instead of teaching better really says alot about their system
most teachers dont get degrees on what they teach and this leads to teachers who don't fully understand the subject their teaching

Not only that, but most teachers are not paid enough to deal with the zoo they call high school and animals they call teenagers
@@Exterminism not to mention that higher education in teaching is literally in 90% of the planet the subject that requirest the lowest score to study. Which means that when you fail hard and cant study anything else, you are highly likely to end up as a teacher. No wonder most teachers provide a subpar quality education: they are literally the lowest of the low and just got there because they were allowed to, not through merit or knowledge lol... in short, we have uneducated and unprepared people as teachers, leading to students obviously having an education that aint worth shit.
I don't think they preferred it. I think they figured out it would be easier because having Sheldon in the class is really detrimental to the other students. His constant interruptions, and demands for attention is disruptive and doesn't give the others a chance to answer any of the questions, even if they did know the answer.
Still finds it weird that young sheldon prefers to dress like an adult whereas older sheldon wears colorful superheroes t shirt like a kid.

Lisa and Sheldon are the least likeable characters in their shows, especially Lisa (Sheldon is less annoying, but annoying anyways, there's a reason that everyone want to punch Sheldon). It actually makes sense. If they kept paying them the same amount nothing would change but they would be losing money. If they paid them more when they had low grades they would make them get low grades on purpose. The best choice is to pay them less
@@bidlingodoop4673 Paying them less doesn't help at all. It makes it all worse, less money means less resources to improve. Besides, basic education is not a commodity that can be sold in different qualities and prices to different people according to their purchase capacity. Education is a basic right, it must be guaranteed to everyone in the best quality possible, regardless of how the students do, because it's their right.
These I think are the 2 main problems in the US concerning education, they understand education as a commodity, not a right, and therefore it is somehow justified to reduce resources on schools that don't do good: low quality schools for low grades students, that's market law. The other problem of the US is believing that people are somehow selfish and lazy, that if they can get money without effort they get it. But what if the problem with many school teachers is that they teach bad because they don't feel they should bother if they are gonna make so little money? Perhaps an improvement on their wages might help them feel it's worthy to do their jobs better, that their job is valued.
Here in my country we used to have an excellent public education system. When did it go down the toilet, after the big economic crisis that lead to cuts in public education budget, and if a couple decades public education quality pretty much plummeted.

Even if Sheldon gets 100% in all of his tests, it still won't be enough to singlehandedly pull the average score of a class with many students.
He probably does extra homework and tests than normal for extra credit

I think it's possible because there's a grading system that if you keep going higher, the others will keep going lower, then there must be a grading system that if you keep going higher, you make others high also.
Well he probably makes the school have the highest range of grades in the entire state of texas and maybe even the us

@@CassidyStarke Back when my uncle used to teach, he taught ages 7-12th I believe, and taught just about every subject. Some schools were even worse back then than they are now.

Even if Sheldon had only around 100 other students whose marks he had to improve, the most he could do is lift them up by 1 each, and that too assuming they all get zeros themselves. One kid leaving wasn't going to cause a 'hard' drop in scores in any school, even if it is Sheldon, even if everyone else is a bum.
