Everybody starts out green, it takes consistent effort to get good at anything. Keep it up!

The only thing better than learning from your mistakes is learning from other people's mistakes. Thanks for talking about where things went wrong and what we can do to avoid those issues.

The problem is not the tool but the expectations 🤷🏿‍♀️

This is where you can find most of your answers, as for software, you need to find the one that works for you. I use Carveco at carveco.com/. it is user friendly and lots of tutorial videos on youtube.

The main issue with this type of DIY CNCs is, you already need a lot of know how to get them running. Other than the price suggesting, learning CNC stuff with those can be quite frustrating, since the user's mistakes and the machine's flaws add up to a very unsatisfying experience. If someone is selling a used MPCNC, then most likely because they are finally fed up with it and go for a proper one. If possible, try and get rid of it and treat yourself with something known reliable and most important, working right ouf the box (and didn't start its life as a kit, meaning, it was built professionally). This will come at a price, but the reason why DIY CNCs are cheap(er) is, that you have to bring the knowledge to build and fix them yourself.

@@stefanf6495 I agree with you, on the other side, it will also give you a deep knowledge of how it works and once you upgrade to a more advanced version, you already have the knowledge if something happen to go wrong. At least in some cases.
