    Wow, there is a guy at LA Fitness in Tucson Arizona that leg presses over 1600 pounds and goes all the way down to lockout with it, then does 80 dumbbell lunges immediately afterwards. Crazy strong legs! good job guys!

      I'm currently at about 1400 but the machine I use doesn't fit more then 1500 so not sure what to do after that. I can't do full lockout maybe half ish

    Great video, as always. Every set, from warmup to max is treated with the same respect and attention to form. The stretches were great as well... I was thinking "Looks like what I saw on Squat U..." and there is was, you called it.

    Great training content. It will be interesting to see what the lineup of strongmen can do in the max squat. With eleven weeks out I’m excited to see the buildup. Martins had a squat session with JF and I’d imagine that they will be the favorites in the max squat. Look forward to seeing where they are at as well.

    Luke: I like how you identified core being an issue for your yoke performance. Althought wouldn't you be better off with some core stabilisation and anti rotational exercises rather than plank to improve your ability to react to load in various directions e.g. kettlebell around the world or medicine ball side throws? Maybe even something with the dreaded stability ball...

    I just watched Matt Wenning's guide on knee wraps, and even if these guys wrap the "wrong" way, what works for them works for them, as Luke said.
    Noticed Tom wrapping the right knee internally, while he wrapped the left knee externally (he wrapped the both knees the "same way"), I just imagine what "correcting" the wraps would do for these guys, as Big Loz said.
    Europe's strongest man, and the worlds strongest man doesn't know how to wrap their knees correctly. Now imagine if they did, they would probably not go down in weight numbers.

Only downsides are that the right oeddale unscrews itself while I use it and increasing the tension causes it to squeak while in use. Both are minor issues that aren't that important to me. So I give it 5 stars.

    My shoulder and arms are so weak but linear leg machine I can do quite well my max is 650kg or 1433lbs. But probably can't do any of the other stuff these guys do, just got strong legs.

    Guys please be careful with the leg presses. According to my 33 years of training and research, leg presses make you stronger only in leg presses. There's no real carryover increase in strength to SQUATS. I WISH YOU WOULD HAVE USED THAT TIME TO INCREASE YOUR GRIP STRENGTH FOR THE "FRAME CARRY" AT ARNOLD'S. LUKE YOU ARE SUPER FAST. PLEASE WORK ON YOUR GRIP STRENGTH. LUKE YOU CAN WIN THAT FRAME CARRY TOO. LUKE THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO WIN A WORLD EVENT.

    You guys are on a whole other level than me, but this makes me feel good because I've done 1418lbs raw on a leg press. It was 7 years ago, but I'm still proud of it.

      Every leg press has a different angle, different levers, different levels of friction. Leg press weights are not really comparable unless it’s done on the same leg press. Still a massive amount of Weight!
