I know a lot of people find multiple stormtroopers unnecessary but I swear they are my favorite thing, ESPECIALLY in multiple. The clean and pristine stormtrooper is at the very top of my list too, so naturally this video was a big hit for me.
Tbh I will only get multiples if they're variants, just cos I'm not keen having the exact same figure with the exact same weathering. But these have little to no weathering so I'm ok with having a couple and it was handy they included a taller version in this set so even these are variants of each other! 😅 But yeah I like the idea of having multiple, pristine looking troopers! Multiple Troopers are an absolute necessity for me 😂 I enjoy army building them and when they are all on display there's nothing better 🎉 Add in a few Officers, Vader, Tarkin or the Emperor and you've got yourself one helluva display 💯 😉👍 cheers 🍻

This is an awesome set. You have troopers with different sizes and multiple type of weapons. Mouse droid included . Love the base as well. If you ever want to get 2 troopers, I believe this set is the way to go. You can't ever be wrong with OT mate. Amazing review as always.

I haven't got this 2 pack, only the ANH Stormie single trooper release. It'd been nice to have the DLT-19 and the mouse droid but I'm pretty happy with the single trooper release. I've currently got him posed with the ANH Sandtrooper. These ANH troopers are my favourite too. I prefer the ANH design over the Rogue One version we've been seeing on the D+ shows (and Rogue One obviously). I prefer the subtle helmet differences on the ANH trooper over the Rogue One trooper, like the eye lense shape etc. The diggest difference I can't unsee, the chest armour. The ANH troopers have broad manly chest armour, whereas the Rogue One troopers have these little chests. Broad and manly vs pert and perky 😂 I love these ANH troopers.
Arrrghhhhh I literally never noticed the chest armour difference, but yeah I see what you mean about broad and manly Vs pert and perky 😭🤣😅 Although seeing that makes me love this set even more actually 🤔 😁 SO you done me a favour!! 👍🏻😀
Can’t beat old school troopers , never been bettered in my opinion😀and to pick up a two pack was a great bit of business, like you said these bad boys are iconic and compliment so many other figures as proximity pieces, really enjoying this wee mini series looking back at new hope figures👍excited to see what figure is up next for review, thanks as always for todays video, stay well👍

Ah cool I really wanted the gun rack but never found it! I don’t have the Battlefront Snowtrooper 2 pack! Missed out when it first released and never found it for a price I was willing to pay. But I did get the ESB version which I think is the same figure. But I agree the Snowtrooper is fantastic and one of my faves too!! I bought two of the Stormtrooper Commanders and two of the Death Watch Mandalorians...it seemed like later on, you could only buy in quantities of one! Both of my Stormtroopers have no red paultrons, so they're ordinary blokes. I wouldn't complain if Hot Toys would return to these two-packs of army builder figures...but my Moducases can only hold so many!

I remember watching The Clipper King's review on them when they were first released yonks ago and being in awe of them! Still one of my clear favourite acquisitions over the last 7 months or so. Absolutely love the ANH style and that pristine armour so much, I bought another single one recently! Even though I have this set and the Han and Luke troopers, I was still dead excited waiting for it to arrive!! 😅😅 One of your best vids, mate. 👌

If I had to get rid of all my figures and just have one, I would be left with a stormtrooper. Love these guys and they have always been my favourite out of all the Star Wars characters. Such an iconic design! I love this 2 pack because of the height variations and the fact that they are the original troopers, but I do have a soft spot for that Jedha Patrol 2 pack also! I’ve got both sets and love them both equally for different reasons. Love seeing these older figures getting some more airtime - they deserve it! Thanks for posting mate! 😄👍🏼

This is one pack I would be very interested in. I know it goes for a high price, but seen it come down a bit over the last few months. I've always loved the old style Stormtroopers since I was a kid. Once I get some money sorted, I could be on the lookout for this pack. As I will be selling my spacetrooper tomorrow.
This set would definitely suit your collection mate as you have such a wide variety of figures representing classic films. So I feel these are a great representation of ANH and would fit in really well in your display somewhere! Not liking the Spacetrooper? Love that figure!! 😅 Although the money you get for that should pay for at least 50% of the 2-pack! 👍🏻

Thanks mate! Yeah I would say this is definitely the best representation of OG troopers. But if you didn't want to drop so much coin on troopers the Mando commander is very similar, especially with the pauldron removed. There are definitely a few subtle differences though so if you wanted the ultimate representation of OG troopers, then yeah this set (or the single version MMS267) is the way to go 👍🏻😀

Original troopers are the best! Rogue One/Disney ones are good but the helmets are over-fussy, I don’t like the blue ‘gills’ being set into grooves, instead of just flat stripes like they are here. Got this two-pack earlier this year, out of redundancy money!! Now I’ve got another job, wouldn’t mind another pack…
Never noticed the grooves before on the RO troopers!! Thats really interesting! I mean I always thought they were some kind of vents so the grooves makes that more likely I guess. But yeah I do like the simplicity of these troopers! Congrats on getting this set Warren, but more importantly glad you got another job! 👍🏻 Hope you manage to get another set, will look awesome on display as a squad!! 👍🏻😀

Just googled that. I'm not really up on actually weaponry but yeah I can spot the resemblance!! Doesn't look like they even tried to modify it, just made it shoot out red lasers instead of bullets? 😅 Oh the thumb print story... when they were about to shoot the movie whoever was making the armour mold (mould?) template inadvertently put their thumb in the, not quite set, material and left that imprint. Then when the armour went into full production that print was on every subsequent upper arm armour piece! 😅 Thanks for watching Steve! 👍🏻😀

I think it was about £400? I wasn't collecting 1/6 scale at the time so I had to buy these second-hand (but they were in perfect condition thankfully 😃). A trick I use is to just forget how much I paid once I've bought something 😅
Well just done it. That one that was selling for £550 gave me a offer at £495 and with shipping I paid £498 all in. Should have this set by Tuesday. Had to watch this video again coz of it lol. So am looking forward to receiving this pack as it was the reason I sold my Spacetrooper as I just wanted Stormtroopers.
I mean I love the Spacetrooper but it was a good bit of business to move that figure on to put towards this set instead! These are the quintessential ANH troopers to have in the collection👍🏻 Congrats mate 🍻

Yeah they definitely have the green lenses. The lighting has to be at a certain angle though otherwise you're right they do look black. 👍🏻

Just googled that. I'm not really up on actually weaponry but yeah I can spot the resemblance!! Doesn't look like they even tried to modify it, just made it shoot out red lasers instead of bullets? 😅
Oh the thumb print story... when they were about to shoot the movie whoever was making the armour mold (mould?) template inadvertently put their thumb in the, not quite set, material and left that imprint. Then when the armour went into full production that print was on every subsequent upper arm armour piece! 😅

Hello!! I'm currently using LED strips by Cefrank. There's 4 strips in a pack so one pack does one detolf. I hope that helps 😀👍🏻
How much was this set new when it came out? Just paid for these as a BNIB set and want to know how much I should cry lol
I think it was about £400? I wasn't collecting 1/6 scale at the time so I had to buy these second-hand (but they were in perfect condition thankfully 😃). A trick I use is to just forget how much I paid once I've bought something 😅
OK that's not too bad then I suppose, I got this set for £520 this week, never removed from box. Should get them delivered next week!
Well just done it. That one that was selling for £550 gave me a offer at £495 and with shipping I paid £498 all in. Should have this set by Tuesday. Had to watch this video again coz of it lol. So am looking forward to receiving this pack as it was the reason I sold my Spacetrooper as I just wanted Stormtroopers.
I mean I love the Spacetrooper but it was a good bit of business to move that figure on to put towards this set instead! These are the quintessential ANH troopers to have in the collection👍🏻 Congrats mate 🍻
