    Great video! And thank you for using the Boogey Lights brand! We do HIGHLY recommend using the 3M adhesion promoter, though. That way the lights will only come off if you want them off. We include it in every one of our kits. Thanks again for choosing Boogey Lights! Safe travels!

    This will be my next mod. Except I want to go all the way around my rig to help park it at night. If I can get full illumination it would make it so much easier to park at night. And a suggestion for you from the aerospace industry, I would find a rubber gasket that fits the hole you pulled your wiring through at the frame to keep the wires from chaffing and shorting to the frame. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

      Thank you! I can probably use the grommet from the light I removed, good tip! Thanks for watching!

    It is supposed to help keep varmints from getting in the camper too. When we were out west there was some pretty crazy light shows underneath some rigs in Arizona.

      I have heard that lol, ours aren’t too crazy with just a few strips. They do throw a nice glow on the site though!

    Great install. We did something similar but added two LED strips on either side but wired them into the backup pin.

      Ahh! That’s a great idea! They definitely add a nice touch.

      @@JouppiOutdoors yea we already had a blue strip under the passenger side similar to what you installed. Too many times rolling into a site after dark forced installing the additional strips.

    Looks great and man I hope you bought your brother a case of his favorite brews or meats. If you haven’t already, you should get an Amazon affiliate account, it’s easy to do and even though the commissions are small, just one person buying this kit would have most likely been around $10-$15 👍

      Thanks, we do have an Amazon Affiliate account. I cooked up chicken wings, multiple pork butts, burgers and steaks during our stay with my brother and his family...I think we are square! Lol

    I noticed the Boogey Light Store installs the lights to the bottom of the frame, not up where you installed them. That's why theirs shines out further than yours.

    • @JouppiOutdoors
      @JouppiOutdoors  2 года назад +1

      I didn’t install them there on ours because the underbelly covering is screwed to the bottom of the frame. I didn’t want to hassle with the lights if I ever needed to drop it down to access underneath the 5th wheel. I would definitely put them on the bottom of the frame if it’s possible! Thanks for watching!

    Looks like you may have also upgraded your exterior speakers, or were those factory installed? If you upgraded, did you do a video?

    • @JouppiOutdoors
      @JouppiOutdoors  3 года назад

      No, those are factory installed from Grand Design. If I ever upgrade, you can bet I’ll have a video of it! Thanks for watching!

    Great video. We have a 28bh also and we were wanting to do the same thing. Where did you purchase your lights. I have been having a problem locating 12 volt ones like the ones you have. Thanks.

    • @JouppiOutdoors
      @JouppiOutdoors  3 года назад

      This was an older kit from Boogey Lights (boogeylights.com). It looks like they still offer a 12 volt controller. Thanks for watching!

    What justifies the ridiculous cost of the boogey lights versus outdoor LEDs you can buy that are waterproof and durable?

    • @JouppiOutdoors
      @JouppiOutdoors  2 года назад

      From my experience, the clear tubing around the led lights does not fade and stays sealed much better so water does not intrude and ruin the lights. Ours are still as bright as the day I installed them and look great! Thanks for watching!

      The lights shown in this video were given to me by my brother. Since then, he has switched to the LED Glow underbody lights and has had great success with them! Here is a link to a LED Glow kit I was looking at purchasing to add more lighting to our RV!
