Yeah, he actually flings them mid-flight now. You really have to watch where they fall and where you are. Another nice detail is that they heat up and detonate upon hitting the ground when he isn't enraged, which I think makes sense since that is a long fall. Though I do admit, I'm not sure if I prefer that to World where they'd sit their waiting for Bageljuice to divebomb so they can all go off in a chain reaction radiating out from him. That shit was so cool.
Black Dragon Bazelgeuse: Some thought this monster was of the rest. However, so called "veteran" fifth fleet hunters dismissed this claim. Moving to Kamura they met new faces, but it didn't last. Before they knew what hit them the village was long gone only a few survived. The new Kamura hunters heard a terrible sound. The fifth fleet hunter however, they heard voices in this noise. Forming a song. They knew it was him, Bazelgeuse. They described the voices as the chants of their fallen hunters. Having flashbacks, they went crazy, never to be seen again.

Bazel : sup boys may if i come to? Oh whatever i'll come anyway
Capcom : oh bruh..
The welcome party was supposed to be for the Elder Dragons only but he "Crashed to the party" uninvited
Next update: Red dot across the sky while Bazel harasses another apex predator
Bazel: Wait this theme isn't mine.

@@sirspookybones1118 YESSSSS!!!
@@sirspookybones1118 Imagine Valstrax doing his "around the world" signature move and bazelgeuse's scales blow up prematurely like they do in his turf war with Deviljho
Two literal dynamite monsters exploding at once lmfao
I like how his shell bombs during aerial bombing mode in Rise now scatters everywhere making it look like you're really in a battlefield compared to World where it only falls straight down.
ITS DOING A BOMBING RUN!!!
Bazelguese coming unannounced and awakening our suppressed PTSD is such a Bazelguese thing to do that I'm not even mad.
“It’s worse now. Why? Because I am here!”
*(Bombs the map)*
This is my gathering hub theme now.
I did the same but forgot by the end of the next hunt and about crapped myself when I heard it kick in
Same effect as lighting fireworks in a veteran's meetup i'd imagine
@@GameBoothUK Bruh, I could imagine the same thing happening to me, "Wth, Bazel invading Kamura, what!?!?!?"
The new instrumentation and added vocals is beautiful and really gives a huge intimidating factor for being the party crasher. They really did give this explosive pine cone a glow up to his theme...
Iii dunno... I love Rise but play Worlds Bazel theme then this one. This one feels dated somehow. Guess its probably from the synthesized instruments :/ The vocals are a nice touch though.
Yeah, it feels softer than World version even with the added choirs. Less trumpets and I don't think I can hear the trombones in this one.
An "explosive blow up"
@@arapaimagold8088 Imo this sounds much more intimidating and powerful

Bazelgeuese definitely deserved to be in this game in my opinion and I think it’s the superior monster when it comes to invading due to the execution of its....well invasion.
I can never get over how amazingly beautiful and terrifying Bazelgeuse's theme is. It is also a very fun monster to fight!
Also weirdly chilling.
*Hears theme song*
Ah yes, seeing the B52 bomber obliterating Monster Hunter newbies is a scene to remember. I'll just stand back and let the rookies experience firsthand, what war is really about
Sure this is cool and all, but want to hear something even scarier?
*Apex Bazelgeuse.* Let that sink into your brain for a moment
Thankfully it only seems monsters that had deviants in Generations are becoming Apexes. So we're safe, for now at least.
Imagine tho seeing an Apex Bazel flying overhead on your village
*'Fortunate Son' plays in the distance*
In the Japan themed game, btw
I don't like where this is going
@@lionelk.y7233 well it won't be a village for much longer

Seriously this theme is so powerful.
I want to say... It's not even the theme of a monster.
*It is literally, the theme of the war.*

HOLY SHIT -- I hadn't been spoiled that he was the mystery monster and I swear my heart stopped when I heard those intro notes!!!
Tell me that you are a bombardment, without being a bombardment
Those Bastards Really Went and Just Added Him to The Game without Telling Anyone... Diabolical
One of the best monsters and themes they've ever done
"Oh, you found your prey? Allow me to introduce myself!"
Lost count of the amount of times I uttered my new catch phrase, "Aw, f*ck off Bazelgeuse!"
Never ask the Bazelguse what he was doing in Japan during 1945.
he was just a little boy.
I was shocked to see him back but man this version of the song slaps
I still remember seeing that mystery symbol and being curious, so I went to go investigate. the thing flew, and once it landed near another monster... I heard the roar.
I almost shit myself.
1:06 plays: Why are we here....just to suffer *WW2 flashback plays in the background*
I love the ticking sound they're making to represent Bazelgeuse's explosives.
I think that's the taiko drums that are present in this version.
World Bazel theme: Vietnam Flashbacks
Rise Bazel theme: Why is the sky speaking Latin?
Anyone else completely surprised by this one? I had no clue he was returning until he (and his music) invaded a random hunt I was on. Good times. :'D
Was a complete surprise to me. What a treat.
Mhr bazelgeuse battle theme sounds like he is not alone like there are 10 or 20 bazel’s all in a flock ready to make it rain explosive scale glands
my boy better be back for wilds
He would be perfect for it
How can anyone hate this version of it bazelgeuse now sounds like a dark souls boss.
Bazelguese is my favorite normal monster in the series. I joined in World, but even looking back at everything else the series has to offer, Bazel is just such an interesting specimen.
Bazelgeuse is On The Loose! - Monster Hunter Rise

And here I thought this theme couldn’t get any better
Honestly didn’t expect capcom to make this theme sound even more urgent, but here we are
Bro just literally flew from world to rise
1:30 that thing is the Bazel crushing at full speed
Absolutely magnificent
*Party Crasher*
They knew EXACTLY what they were doing...
Back to ruin your quests ^v^ and really happy about it
I welcome the challenge, Bazel. Honestly, Ebony Odogaron wasn't quite the same as you in Iceborne
The true ruler is back
I salute you
Rajang: bout fucking time man... Maybe now I can get some sleep
You were a rather annoying one in world, but since you’re back, I’ve noticed how much I’ve missed this b-52.
Good to see you back
As a person who started playing the games around when 4U got released, I had the opportunity to play several other games(Tri was the first game that I saw that got me into the franchise, and 3U is currently my favorite game to date). But never World and Iceborne. So I didn’t get the chance to ever fight him.
Then Rise came out, and after a update(forget which one), I had a question mark on my map. Out of curiosity, went over to see it. And to my complete surprise and utter joy; it was this glorious bastard. I then proceeded to say *I’m going for you!* to the current quest, just to fight him.
No regrets! Second favorite monster!
Bazel Arriving in Kamura in 1945: Now I've become Death. The Destroyer of worlds
The B-52 has an improved theme with beautiful vocals... Can't wait to get invaded and hear this masterpiece.
Legit didnt know she was in the game and went up to a barioth and halfway through the fight this music started and I knew
its really interesting how the vocals to his song make it actually sound similar to fatalis esc themes in like frontier or just in general really. Gives me Crimson fatalis vibes from like 4U or frontier
Never thought I would like a theme more than world's teostra one holy FUCK THIS SLAPS
One of the themes Rise ended up doing better than earlier games.

Remember this theme being very scary and intimidating from its debut in Monster Hunter World only 3 years ago. Well now from a dramatic drop in, this theme really feels like hell is dropping down upon you. The power of the invader and the B-52 bomber. I love this rendition of the Bazel theme. I grew tired of the old one but oh man this new rendition feels so much more under control and powerful, like you’re fighting a truly powerful force, but you can do it, you can fight off the invader. This is a wonderful rendition of this theme and honestly if he ever returns in future games I hope this becomes the theme that stays because it’s perfect for the B-52.
I was doing a HR7 mission and there was an unknown monster on the map, I didn't pay it any mind because i was grinding, I'm also relatively new to monster hunter (started with world/ice born) WHEN THIS FUCKING THING KAMIKAZE BOMBED ME, I SCREAMED SO HARD
1:59 is my favorite part of the song
Not gonna lie I teared up during the fight hearing the world instruments at towards the end
You dare think you can escape me simply by switching games?
Dear god..please no
MH Rise is my first Monster Hunter game. And I had yet to be legit terrified of any of the monsters. But this guy was something else. Between a mix of his haunting roar to his tension inducing music, this has got to be the monster that terrified me the most. I've slain it a dozen times and yet this guy still scares the crap out of me.
The only theme song that puts fear in any hunter's heart during a random encounter in a hunt
The pounding of the drums of War.
The thrill of Bazel's mighty roar.
The joy of vengeance. Testify.
I can hear the cheering. Bazel what a guy.
And our time is nearing. And then our flag will fly. Against a blood red sky. That's my lullaby. 🎶
Wow, a Lion King 2 reference.
Ah what a nice hunt! I'm really enjoying myself toda-
I think i prefer the opening sting in world, but the rest of this version is way better imo
I actually did a little yelp of both fear and joy when I ran into him in Rise. This living vibe check of a monster is my favorite in the whole series and also the reason for many of my failed hunts in World
0:01 JUST the start gives me před man
New Hunter: "Why did the music change?"
People who played World: *running*
Bazelgeuse is my favorite monster and i love both of the themes. This one is SO SO SO much more sinister. World's theme was MORE AGGRESSIVE for sure. I love them BOTH! Honestly my favorite monster to fight.
Basel:you thought I forgot when you replaced me with banbaro as an invader ?
I've literally never encountered a Banbaro after the storyline quest...
