Crash Bandicoot 3 - 105% & All Platinums, Part 21: Dino Might!

This is one of the harder levels. It takes 5 minutes to complete and there are many ways to die. The backtracking isn't too bad with the baby dinosaur, but the dinosaur chase on the yellow gem path is very hard if you don't know what's coming.

DAMN THOSE NITRO CRATES!!!!for some reason they scared the crap out of me....made me real nervous. thanks ever so much for uploading this, it brings back good memory's. i remember my dad got me this and a ps1 for my birthday when i was little, he would get stuck on certain parts when he played on it, then i would just take over and do it straight away,good times..... =)

Loaded the file and found the music voume at 18%. Dunno how that happened, but that's the reason. In other words, there will be low music for the rest of the video.

That's a really good question. I hadn't noticed this myself until you told me, but it seems to start at Bye Bye Blimps. I'll look into it, but I really have no idea why it happens.

I have to agree with you there, though the battles were fought mostly with consoles. People defended Sony, SEGA, Atari, Nintendo, Commodore to no end, but video games back then weren't as popular, so there were fewer debates. Though I do agree - this is one of the best games on the PS1 hands down ^^

Are you playing like a PAL/UK version of this game? I've been watching a load of your videos and I feel so miffed by the noice the checkpoint box makes. It reminds me of the guards in Metal Gear- I honestly don't remember the boxes making that noise! (probably just me, YEARS since I played crash)

I don't quite understand how the yellow gem platform becomes visible. I copied every single one of your movements but its still transparent. I tried destroying everything, nothing, having aku akus and no aku akus.. I'm getting frustrated

did you collect the yellow/green gem?
the colored platforms dont appear until you have acquired the correct color gem.

Yeah, you don't have to break boxes during the dinosaur chase, as the dinosaur will get them for you. Sure makes things easier.

Gem = those clear/red/purple/green/yellow/blue diamonds
Relic = those egyptian crosses
Power = defeat a boss to get an ability
