    what if two people co own the residence? Does the subject without a warrant get to deny police entry as well or since the warrant is attached to one owner and the address is on that warrant it doesn’t matter?

    @Anthony Bandiero how are you? I have a question for you. I heard that Texas Governor Greg Abbott pardoned Daniel Perry an individual who was convicted of murder by a jury of his peers. If I'm not mistaken, I was under the impression that the only time a Governor could pardon someone is for a non-violent felon, but I could be wrong.

    Hello, I'm not Anthony or associated with BTG in any way, except an avid follower.
    But as a 30-year Texas peace officer I can say that according to our code of criminal procedure, the governor has the explicit right to pardon anyone convicted for any crime EXCEPT for treason and impeachment. The pardons that he grants has to be based solely on the written recommendation of the Board of Pardons and Parole.
    (Texas Code of Criminal Procedure 48.01)
