You mention case studies for removing any passenger or driver from the vehicle. Are there any circumstances where a person with disabilities could legally decline? Stroke or CABG (open heart) or any other ADA related reason?
What about, is escalating this into something I will need to possibly arrest and charge this innocent individual, because I feel he isn't giving me the proper respect I feel I deserve, and I can so I will? Isn't this something that should be taught at the academy and have refresher courses throughout their careers? In this day and age..lol...shouldn't DE- ESCALATION be at the forefront of contact between cops and civilians?
Here it would be obstruction of a governmental operation. You have given them a lawful order and they refuse to obey that order. Personally, if i need them to exit then it's more than just "i can do it and trying to be an ass." Unless there is a reason then i would rather them stay in the vehicle.
Related. I’m 72 and on oxygen (not needed when I’m seated). Officer tells me to get out of the car. I inform the Officer that I’m happy to do so; however, I’m on oxygen and must be allowed to retrieve it out of the back seat. (Without the oxygen I could die.)
What I never hear from your channel is 1) is this the view of our police force I want to show to the people, 2) do I really want to possibly kill someone for if it goes wrong if it goes south, and 3) is it really the right thing to do

Add being paraplegic, one cop got famous for pulling a paraplegic from the car and arresting him for refusing to follow directions.

Sure that's what you say publicly. Yet video after video of police pulling people from cars for zero reasons other than being butt hurt.
In Texas, these actions would meet the requirements in the statute for criminal trespass.. Without a warrant or exigent circumstances
