The first picture, of cattle guard crossings shows me everything...
Old tires laying around. What a shit hole area, just like the City's. No thanks.
Thanks for watching
So it's $3,050 at least? Are you serious? No water out there. No utilities. Not even secure roads. That area probably won't be inhabited for another 50 years, if even then. Be sure to advise each client how much the basic infrastructure is going to cost; for well, power, and septic tank.
$3050 is fairly cheap for an acre land.
@@Winterascent Not in the off-road desert, with no utilities. It's not arable (for food) and it's not livable (by code) without MAJOR expense and improvements.
@@Winterascent Some of the wells now in New Mexico commonly cost more than $10,000 (or more, easily). That is presuming you can even find clean, drinkable water under that ground.
People buy land for all sorts of reasons. Many would enjoy this area for the seclusion and potential long term appreciation if the area was developed a bit more. Thanks for watching.
now that's rural

Thanks for watching!
Those aren't towns, those are post offices. THIS land is over 100 miles into what we call the "Jornada de los Muertos". I'll let you look that up on your own and you can decide if you want to live there. DON't buy land in New Mexico without standing on it first. There's a lot of land out here that's JUST dirt.
Belen is nearby and is a small town and Albuquerque is a little over an hour drive away. Thanks for watching.
